I left my charger at my mom’s house while visiting and so I needed a charger for my Oral B 5000 toothbrush. I got this one because of the reviews and it worked perfect, It charges my toothbrush. I have only had it a week so I can not speak on longevity but so far so good and the price was reasonable. I also got it fast which is what I needed.

Some reviewers have had reliability and overheating problems. The charger worked fine during a brief test. I’ll do another after the toothbrush is completely discharged.
I ran a test starting with a fully discharged toothbrush and finishing with the device completely charged. During operation the charger was slightly warmer than the surroundings. I don’t expect that to change over time, but it is always wise to watch for devices not working as expected. This could be a predictor of future safety problems.
