This stuff is GREAT! I go through this in about two months because i take a bath almost every day and i use a lot of salt. First, did you know that if you add this to a spray bottle with some water you can make straight hair wavy? It gives you beach hair. I love it! It also works great for soaking bruises and reducing inflammation in sore muscles. If you suffer from Fibro or a connective tissue disorder … this stuff is your best friend.
The package arrives in a thick silver bag shipped priority mail. Because the cardboard box is so thick and slim I just keep it in there and slide it behind my clawfoot tub when not in use but it’s a simple clean pour into any canister you like.

I could tell immediately upon lifting the box marked by a big read “heavy” sticker that my Epsom salts was opened. Sure enough once I tore off the tape, I found about a cup loose in the box. Unfortunately for me, the hole was in the bottom of the huge heavy bag so when I picked it up I lost even more while transferring it. Frustrating and disappointing for sure. Based on the “hole” I’d hazard to guess it was done in the warehouse. Amazon box cutting 101- use caution when opening to pack into customers shipments.
Whilst cleaning up the mess, I was pleased to discover this salt is a medium grind. It was difficult to decipher in the description as well as other reviews, some said it was fine but not powdered. I primarily use Epsom salts in my garden, this grind will dissolve nicely. Once I sweep it up.

I suffer from chronic gout arthritis attacks. I also recently took a fall and damaged a knee. After reading about all of the benefits of Epsom salt and my additional pain I have increased my Epsom use to almost everyday with great results. I use a few cups per bath so I love the large 25 pound bag.
I was looking for a better cost option with my heavy use and this product fit the bill as the drug store Epsom salt was becoming price prohibitive. After receiving my order I find the packaging (bag) is very heavy duty and looks to be professional grade. With my pain the convenience of having 25 pounds delivered to my front door via Amazon prime is priceless! I am not a chemist or anything but I find this product has a finer, smoother appearance than the store brands, dissolves better in the bath and as one review suggested may be easer on the skin. I agree that this product is mild on the skin, actually made my skin very soft and helps the pain! My opinion is this Epsom Salt is the best of all the brands I have ever used.

Awesome product. The grains are just the right size, dissolve well in me bath water. My initial intent for this bag was to use in the garden but found it works well for sore muscles too. I broadcast this on the soil in the springtime, as well as onto my raspberry patch. One of the biggest lack in minerals in soil is magnesium and all plants need it to grow healthy and produce nice fruit. I also soaked some raspberry and blackberry plant roots in water mixed with a few tablespoons of epsom salts before replanting to a different location- there was no wilting at all with these plants as in my experience they do when dug up and put in plain water. Its a great cost effective fertilizer, as well as great for your muscles. Don’t overdo on it in the garden though, as you can also use it to kill unwanted weeds and plants in a strong enough solution. I have done so last year on one of robust annoying tree that kept growing from the stump, and this year- no growth! It a great, all- purpose product.

Love this Essom Salt … Two cups in the bath water and soak in it for twenty mins. and my body feels at rest long enough for me to fall asleep at night… I suffer from fibromyalgia so my nerves and muscles are hurting , pinching and knotting up all the time, with medications I now have good days and bad but I could always count on my Epsom salt… I also use it to kill weeds in my yard!
