My skin used to be on the oily side but as getting older, it became very dry with blemishes.
I was hoping this luxurious cream would do some magic but that was not the case.
It immediately causes skin troubles and looking at the ingredients, I could understand why.
It was just that I could hardly believe an expensive cream like this contains these ingredients:
Dimethicone, Peg-8, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Ceteareth-20, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool
It was my mistake that I did not check the ingredients before trying it on my face and I am paying for it.
I will not recommend it to anyone.

I feel so guilty for recommending such an expensive face cram. I’m sure you can find a dupe that is cheaper elsewhere. However, I just think that this cream is so perfect. It’s thick but applies very smoothly and absorbs well into the skin. You only need a little bit. I used it extensively when I had a dry period and it repaired my skin barrier perfectly. There is no greasiness at all but you can feel that it is very hydrating. Everything else applies on top of it very well. Overall It just fixed all my problems and I didn’t notice it at all— which is what an ideal cream would do. There is also no fragrance.

I have used Hydraphel and liked the healing propities of that cream . I feel this cream isn’t as good as that one. I will keep this one and use it just for the moisture in it.

There is nothing particularly dynamic about this cream. It has mostly generic ingredients. It includes a fragrance. It is extremely expensive. It feels good going on but, honestly, as someone that has used and reviewed a ton of high end face creams, there is nightingale here that justifies the price. Cannot recommend anyone pay this much here.

Never have I had the opportunity to spend this much on my face cream and then I had a birthday, and a wrinkle, and then a dry skin patch, and did I see another wrinkle? Well, I won’t have to tell. The Erno Laszlo cream is so luxurious, thick and creamy. I like that it goes on smoothly and quickly dissipates into your skin and recharges the skin, softens it and makes you feel like you again. This cream feels so nice, it slips on to your skin leaving it all so dewy soft.
The cream is in an unexciting plastic jar, I would have expected a crystal decanter to accompany the high end hype. You realize it is less about fancy packaging and more about supporting the beautiful in each of us, male and female. If you are only as good as your worst product, they have nothing to fear here. I am tempted to use more but find a little goes a very long way. I have been using this for a couple of weeks, twice daily, and found such surprising results. Normally, I have been an all natural moisturizing, hydrating, cleaning woman, this was an opportunity not to be taken lightly nor was it to be blown off, wasted, or over used. I find the product to have such a light scent, it did not interfere or distract with anything else. I found the jar to be easy to open and access the product, and it has already shown a difference. I saw the dewy-complexion first and now I think my 2 very tiny, miniscule, almost unnoticeable wrinkles have taken off on vacation. It is my hope they take directions from Erno Laszlo and get lost! The ingredient list has its concerns, but there are positives as well and did I mention lovely results appear quickly? Secret Weapon for the Seniors, ssshh!

This face cream is fairly thick but silky and slightly buttery feeling. As the directions say it helps to take a bit and melt it between your fingers. It doesn’t take long at all before it becomes much more workable to spread it evenly of your face. Surprisingly does not feel heavy at all but maybe slightly waxy for the first few minutes before the skin just feels smooth and well moisturized. The smell is medium light and a cool refreshing light plant scent. The jar also comes with a little spatula to keep the jar uncontaminated. This is a luxurious high cost cream that is effective.

This is an excellent moisturizing face cream. It has a lovely thick texture that becomes silky and almost melts into your face. I’ve been using it nightly on my dry skin, and I love it. I use tretinoin, and sometimes have some dry patches on my chin, and this cream has resolved them! I look forward to putting it on each night.
It has a scent that, while nice, I’d describe as “old-fashioned,” but I don’t mind it.
It is an expensive cream, but it seems to be worth it, if your budget can handle it!
