I switched to this brand looking for a sandalwood-scented deodorant. I had used a Tom’s brand antiperspirant for years and liked it, but they don’t make this scent so I went looking. There are a lot of critical reviews of this deodorant, but I wanted to give a review that is fair.
Ingredients/Antiperspirant – They aren’t hiding it. This product has aluminum in it. There isn’t another deodorant that prevents sweat without aluminum. I have looked. If I could find a product that was equally effective without aluminum in it I would use it. I compared the other ingredients with similar products like Dove brand deodorant and felt more comfortable with the ingredients in the Every Brand Jack product and felt more comfortable with this product. It lines up well to my Tom’s brand.
Effectiveness – It works as well as my former Tom’s brand antiperspirant and I am happy with it.
Scent – it has a great smell which is subtle. I have received compliments for the smell. So works for me.
Residue on shirts – this is no different from other antiperspirants. I wear undershirts to protect my dress shirts and have not had any problems.
Cost – I do think it is slightly too expensive. It costs more than other similar products like my former Tom’s brand antiperspirant. I get that this is a bit of a premium product that utilizes a wider range of more natural ingredients. But I don’t think the premium should be this high.

First, I must say I really like this brand and the body wash with the same scent is great! I purchased the antiperspirant/deodorant hoping to be equally satisfied. The fragrance is absent. It smells like a petroleum jelly bar.

I’ve been using Old Spice for quite a few years now, and decided to give Every Man Jack a try. The packaging looks really nice, and I loved the idea of getting a variety pack of three different scents (I really wish Old Spice would do so). The reviews here on Amazon convinced me to try them out.
I’m sad to say that each of the scents did not smell good. I’m not sure how to put it, but this is how I’d imagine a soap from the 1930s smelling like, which is obviously not the smell I’m going for. The differences between the different scents were negligible, so buying the variety pack didn’t help at all.
If it was only the not greats scents that would be one thing. I always buy antiperspirant because I sweat a lot. I’ve tried all three in this pack, and even though it’s not even summer yet, at the end of the day (at the office) my shirt’s armpits (which is laying over an undershirt) are soaking wet.
Needless to say that all these three are going to the garbage, and I’m back to good ol’ Old Spice.
I hope Every Man Jack will read this review and fix up the product, because other than the really nice packaging, these antiperspirants suck.

I like that there are different “flavors” to use, so far I am liking this brand, it does what it’s supposed to leaving my dry and smelling good, it is not an overwhelming scent either.

I’m struggling with giving two stars or three. Yes, these keep me from stinking. They do the job of an antiperspirant. However, the scents are too subtle and do not smell good (in my opinion). It’s difficult to wash off and makes my scrub sticky, even with soap. If you need your deodorant to stick around for two days before showering, maybe you’ll like that. Next time I’ll just go with something that smells clean, rather than salt and sawdust.

First thing’s first this stuff last a long time and prevents odor very well. My biggest complaint is an almost Playdough like smell when first applying. This scent does go away after a little bit so it’s not too big of a deal.
