I’ve used many similar soap saver bag like this in the past. It’s really all I use when I use a bar of soap in the shower. I bought these as an alternative the the sisal soap savers I was using previously because the sisal ones stayed wet and made me go through soap too fast. These work as intended but the quality of them is pretty bad. The quality is horrible
The issues:
– Whatever holds the mesh at the bottom to form the pouch is not tight enough to keep everything together. It will unravel layers, making it hard for you to hold it while washing. You will constantly have to fix it so you can have a somewhat decent hold on it.
– The pre-tied knot on the rope is not secure and it will come undone which may cause your soap to fall after use.
– The white plastic cinch has no strength in it’s closure so it will slide up and down which may cause your soap to fall out especially if the knot at the end comes undone.
The only saving grace is that you get so many of them so you can just move the left over soap to another one. It does a decent job of exfoliating and these are relatively cheap so I guess you just have to have the right expectations of the product. This is literally a perfect example of “You get what you pay for”

I use these daily to exfoliate in the shower and have for years.
One mesh lasts me a whole bar of soap. I feel that i get more out of the bar this way. As the bar shrinks, there is no finagling with the little piece of soap – it continues to lather!
Once the bar is done, i get a new mesh & bar of soap. I then use the empty mesh to scrub the shower. Two uses!

We have used soap bags for a number of years and these are the worst we’ve tried. Normally we rinse and reuse them after the soap is gone, but these are single use – we toss them when the soap bar is finished. The cord is thin nylon and won’t remain closed – it slips right through the little clasp, so it must be double knotted to prevent that. In addition, the plastic netting is thin and shreds easily, leaving fewer and fewer layers between you and the soap. I’m on my last bag and will not be re-ordering these.

Als ich sie auspackte, war ich zuerst etwas enttäuscht. Sie sind unten mit Kabelbinder verschlossen.
Aber das ist nicht schlimm. Ich habe schon unterschiedliche Seifensäckchen ausprobiert und finde diese am Besten. Praktisch ist der Kordelstopper, mit dem man die Säckchen verschließen kann. Es hält, man kann sie gut aufhängen. Ich habe sie auch schon häufig mitgewaschen. Klappt gut.
Die mehrlagige Netzschicht lässt die Seife super aufschäumen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit.

I can seldom find these mesh draw string bath soap pouches in stores. So, I thought this would be a good buy & have extras on hand. These ARE JUNK! Shipping them back!

The mesh is very thin & weak, so they tear easily & won’t hold up more than a week. (If you’re lucky.)
I read reviews before purchase, which also said “cords used were too small” to hold pouch closed. Thought I’d take my chances, thinking it was a decent price….
The cord used is very thin, but it’s not the reason for not staying closed.
The spring inside the cheap flimsy plastic spring loaded cord keeper is extremely weak. The spring isn’t strong enough to pinch & hold the cord.
If it had a stronger spring, I believe it would hold any size cord. The weak & crappy spring cord keeper used, Will NOT keep pouch closed.
You can slide the cord keeper up & down the cord with no resistance. You’d need to tie the pouch closed to keep the soap inside. This means you probably couldn’t untie it to put in another bar. (If the flimsy mesh didn’t tear within the 1st week.)
Inside the bottom of pouch it’s gathered closed with a Zip tie, instead of being securely tied with string. Some people don’t like this, as the zip tie can cut or scratch you during use. I can get past this, as most are zip tied together now.
Due to the inferior products used in manufacturing these pouches, they’re worthless JUNK! Your money is best spent on something else!
I did buy the same type drawstring pouch from Amazon. The listing is GXXMEI. I don’t know if this is the store name or brand it doesn’t clarify this info.
This brand(?) is much stronger & made with better quality materials. Although, they too are zip tied together inside the bottom.

It was a bit thinner than I wanted or was expecting. But there are many colors and multiple in the pack so I can’t complain because it will save me money in the long run. So quality is decent and not bad but not super strong or thick.

Die Schwämme erfüllen ihren Zweck und Schäumen die Seife gut auf. Das Austauschen der Seife ist super einfach und die Seife kann, bis sie aufgebraucht ist, problemlos im Schwamm bleiben. Ich spüle den Schwamm immer nach dem Verwenden gründlich ab und hänge ihn dann zum Abtropfen auf. Die Seife bleibt dabei immer im Schwamm.
Allerdings reißen einzelne Lagen des Schwamms relativ schnell weil diese sehr dünn sind, das ist zunächst nicht so schlimm, da der Schwamm aus genügend Lagen besteht, sollte aber dennoch erwähnt werden.
Der Verschluss dagegen ist super.
Für den Kabelbinder der den Schwamm im inneren zusammenhält, sollte eine andere Möglichkeit gefunden werden. Dieser birgt Verletzungsgefahr!! Ich selbst feile das angeschnittene Ende immer etwas an, damit die Kanten abgerundet sind. Benutzt man eine große Seife im Schwamm, kommt man mit dem Kabelbinder gar nicht in Kontakt. Blöd wird es allerdings wenn die Seife schon sehr klein ist und weiter nach unten rutscht und dann immer direkt beim Kabelbinder hängt.
Alles in allem komm ich aber gut mit den Schwämmen zurecht und würde sie trotz des Kabelbinders wieder kaufen, da ich bisher auch keine Besseren (ohne Kabelbinder) gefunden habe.
