  1. Savvy shopper

Farmacy was founded in 2018 and promises natural, sustainable beauty products with 100% waste-free packaging, cruelty-free (certified by Leaping Bunny) and without parabens, sulfates, SLS and SLES, phthalates, mineral oils or formaldehyde. They also partner with Feeding America to fight food waste and insecurity.

Without any added water, this 10% Vitamin C (via ascorbic acid) serum is strong, and if you have sensitive skin, I recommend a patch test. Designed to brighten, targets dark spots and reduce hyperpigmentation. It also contains Arbutin and Ferulic Acid, more brightening/dark spot agents and antioxidant extracts of tangerine peel and sugar beet.

With a tiny ingredient list (see below), consisting almost entirely of active ingredients, a little goes a long way, and this is one I could only use on my skin once or twice a week. But that’s not a bad thing, and speaks to effectiveness. I have mild melasma, left over from my last pregnancy, and this treated it as well as any C serum I’ve tried.

It’s a slippery gel-liquid hybrid that soaks in quickly, though it was slightly sticky while drying. That feeling disappeared quickly though once I applied my normal moisturizer. Be sure and use sunscreen every day, but especially when using Vitamin C products, even at night (when I used this), as C makes your skin more sensitive to UV damage.

All in all, this is an intense treatment that delivers visible results.

Full ingredient list from the Farmacy website: Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Ascorbic Acid, Betaine, Alpha-Arbutin, Ferulic Acid, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Sinensis Peel Extract, Glycerin, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid

    Love this.

  3. Guillermo S.

It’s impressive that a product of this price has such bad assembly quality. I don’t recommend it, a brand like drunk elephant is WAY better.

Edit: Finally the refund was made.

  4. Savvy shopper

Disappointed in size of product when it arrived

  5. Smartband

It is very neat and beautiful. It is well made and the spread has what I would call “great curb appeal”. Hope it holds up like all Waverly bedspreads

My friend recommended that I start using a vitamin c serum as part of my daily facial routine. I found this online and decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! I love the consistency of the serum, it’s not too thick or sticky like other ones I’ve tried, and has definitely helped to moisturize my face (I use it before I apply my daily cream moisturizer both morning and night). I love the way it feels on my skin and leaves my skin / face looking refreshed after I use it. Also, the pump is great as it doesn’t pump out too much at a time so you end up having/ using too much product – pet peeve. Highly recommend!!

  7. Amazon Customer

Wonderful product! Does not let your skin go dry. Lasts the entire day! Keep it up!

  8. susan

So far I like this product!!!! After I’ve used it for a while I’ll check bad with a report…

  9. Shahina Khan

Smells disgusting and haven’t noticed any difference

  10. AR

I haven’t noticed any difference in my face. It is too expensive and not worthy for the price

  11. Guillermo S.

I have tried many different face creams, serums, and toners. At 66 I have longed for products that actually performed. I am a little OCD in that I research ingredients.
After only 1week my skin looks more refreshed, and dark spots are not as prominent. I am using the overnight mask, honey halo, and serum. Plus this waterless vitamin C.
The quality in my mind is unsurpassed. I have finally found my skincare

  12. Monica

I’ve tried a few vitamin C serums lately and this one is great. It comes in an easy to dispense pump, so you don’t risk spilling the dang thing like I did with my last bottle serum. It’s in a waterless formula and not in a clear glass bottle which prevents it from breaking down. It seems a tad greasy at first but then your skin just drinks it up and you feel amazing. I apply a thin layer of facial SPF after it dries and I’m good to go. So far so good.

  13. Oogie

I tested this product and it’s not the right PH level for it to be effective. It should be between 2.5-3.5 and this was 6. It’s unfortunate because it’s a reasonable price.
