My bestie is a stylist and told me to buy this product it worked really quick, and doesn’t smell like chemicals to remove the hair tape. I washed my hair with normal shampoo and it removed all the extra oil. I also washed my tape-in hair extensions for reuse. The oil comes out really easily with a good washing. I let my extensions air dry, put in fresh tape and then reuse. It’s a great product. My friend did caution me not to do this myself. Let a stylist do it for you so you don’t pull out your hair.

Yes this product is an oil, but if you use tape extension you know what it is like to take these out and have tape stuck in your hair trying to comb it out is a nightmare. I was using 99% alcohols before, but it is very strong and would dry out my hair. I wish someone told me about this sooner!
After I use it, I do wash my hair and shampoo my hair twice just to be sure the oil is out, my hair feels great after, not oily!

Doesn’t really breakdown tapes, it’s just a messy oil that ran out before all my extensions were even removed. Requires way too much oil on one tape to even peel them apart properly.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I had tape in extensions put in for me for my wedding shower and my bachelorette party back in August. They were put in the exact way the directions said and I removed them with this product exactly the way the directions said. As soon as I got in the shower, my worst nightmare came true. CHUNKS of my hair were just all over the shower and in my hands. Not only did this product create bald spots ALL OVER MY HEAD, but it forever ruined my hair for good. It is so thin you can see my scalp no matter how I wear my hair. It looks like I got a very short haircut when I didn’t. I had to pay BIG money to get professional extensions put in since this happened WEEKS BEFORE MY WEDDING. After already spending a fortune on paying for our wedding, I now needed to pay over a grand for new hair last minute. It is now almost March and after continuing to pay for these professional extensions upkeep monthly and using multiple products on the bald spots, it still has not improved. I have been absolutely heartbroken over this and insecure that I have finally found the courage to right a review. My family and friends have even talked about helping me sue this company all together because of the thousands I now have to continue to spend on my hair to make it even barrable to go anywhere in pubic without a hat. PLEASE DO NOT BUY TAPE INS FROM THIS COMPANY
