Having severe allergies, I appreciate finding this product. It is very ‘free and clear’ of ingredients usually found in shampoos. A little bit goes a long way. It gets my hair literally squeaky clean. Since I had a perm, my hair knots up after washing. So I also purchased the Free & Clear conditioner. Another high quality, allergy-free product, it takes only a small amount rubbed through the hair. I don’t wait several minutes after rubbing the conditioner in. I just rub it in good and then rinse, and it works well that way. Ordering a 6-pack of the shampoo and a multi-pack of the conditioner is a big money saver.

I have been using this product for over 7 years. My husband developed perfume & chemical allergies and this was the only product I found that was completely perfume & chemical free. It is good product and leaves my hair clean & shiny. Friends and family visiting have used it and there have been no complaints.

Free and Clear Shampoo is kind of expensive, but the bottom line is that it’s been the *only* shampoo in over 25 years that my poor, dear, allergy-afflicted husband can use without getting swollen eyes, severely congested sinuses, asthma, sneezing, and the rest of the allergy-attack package after bathing. It’s kind of amazing because I have a lot of allergies myself, but I can use several shampoos that he cannot. I mean, even baby shampoos and other “sensitive” shampoos are out. The only shampoo he can use is Free and Clear. We would but stock in this company if we could.

The shampoo is great. One, out of the six, leaked in the package even though they had “leak proof tape” on them. I think they may not have leaked if they were shipped in a box rather than a bag that clearly got tossed around in shipping.
