I have used other balms in the past as make up remover. this one has a lot in the jar, but the drawback is you may have to use it more than once to get all your makeup off completely.

  2. Stephanie Miller

Definitely removes your makeup, but it does leave a slightly oily residue. I double cleanse to remove it.

  3. Chawney42

If you’re tired of scrubbing your makeup off this is a great cleansing balm.

I am normally not the type to buy the newest products, but when I decided to go back to a cleansing balm after a year and a half of using cleansing oil, my gut told me I could trust Garnier. I love their micellar water.

This works so much faster than cleansing oil. It took a moment to really melt into my full face of makeup. I let it sit for 30 seconds or so, sprayed my face with water and went to emulsify it all. Unlike my previous cleansing oil, it took no effort to remove my mascara. It also did not burn my eyes at all.

If you have any issues removing this, add a bit more water. I thought it was a bit hard to remove the first night, but on the second night I used more water. It easily wiped off my face with a wet towel. My face was so soft and clean afterwards. It even felt better the following morning.

For reference, I’m 50 with combination skin. If this causes any breakouts later, I’ll update the review. So far, I’m so glad I bought this!

It removes makeup just as well as the pricier one that went viral but this is fragrance free. Works very well. Will definitely buy again.

this is somthing new im trying out, i usually use miscellar water for cleanaing makeup. i was not dissapointed with this. it is oily and thats how it works to remove the makeup, but not a greasy kind of oily. once you get it lathered wirh water i comes off pretty easily. the price is good. its easy to use and easy to take out of the container with your fingers.

Works just as well as the more expensive stuff. Likes it better tbh cause it has a very slight scent I find very appealing. No greasy. Wipes right off. Softens skin. Don’t need to wash your face after if you don’t want to but I usually do anyway. This well be my new go to

My wife uses this and really likes it. She had been using wipes before, which worked alright. But she says she likes this better. She doesn’t wear super heavy makeup, so hasn’t had many issues in the past. Instructions to say to follow up with a regular cleaner, which she does as well. But that’s really just to get the last bits off.
