ETA: The color has lightened to a closer shade to the expectated one after several washes.
The application was easy, and the dye didn’t smell as bad as some others, but the color was a few shades darker on my medium brown hair. My hair looks and feels a bit frizzier than it did before. I’m a bit disappointed and will probably go with a lighter color and different brand next time.

I’ve been using this brand for a few months now, and my hair isn’t dried out at all. Covers gray well and I can go about 4-5 weeks between applications I also subscribe on Amazon and get it $3 cheaper than the stores. Plus, stores can’t carry every color.

I’ve been using this Brand (off & on) & Color for almost 3 years & in my opinion & experience it’s the BEST for Covering gray hair..if you use it correctly…I’ve been coloring my hair since the 80’s & personally I think this is the BEST BY FAR OTC COLOR TO COVER GRAY HAIR..

I also go online & read about how it’s best to color Gray hair-like adding certain oils to your hair before, after & in between coloring to keep it HEALTHY & strong…(which I also use).
I added the No Gray drops & I used the Ion Booster Step 1 & my hair turned out REALLY GOOD…I haven’t tried the others yet but I will in the future…most of the reviews I’ve read are pretty good- so it’s worth a try.
It may sound like a lot of ingredients but it’s so worth it to me-the color for me when I add extra drops lasts maybe 3 weeks longer…
Everyone’s hair is so different & so many factors are involved when doing your own hair…this is my experience with this color & brand & it’s worked VERY WELL FOR ME…
