I bought this head specifically for hair color and it worked beautifully!! I am a student in a cosmetology program and I needed this for a project, at first I was skeptical because I was scared it wasn’t human and synthetic, and if you know anything about hair then you’ll know synthetic washes right out but to my surprise the dye held ! If you are wondering what dye I used, it is called manic panic and it came out a little bit brighter than it did in the bottle but I was perfectly fine with that. Shipping was nice and quick and even though the box had a slight tear it still was in good shape. A lot of poeple are saying it sheds a lot which is expected, I did not have chunks falling out though, your average shedding for a mannequin head. If you need this for vibrant color practice I totally recommend ! It is completely 100% human hair !! Worth the money 🙂

I was able to lighten her once more for a base for some really nice pastels. The hair will need deep conditioning after this but she is a great base for all your coloring dreams! Not to mention, she is really pretty!!!

Def not human hair feels and looks very plasticy and when you wash it it the ends frizz up really bad also sheds a lottttt. But color stuck pretty well and straightened it on lowest heat setting

Hair and head quality great. Big downfall…. Comes without a mount so you would have to buy that separately. Also, DO NOT brush or comb the hair. It comes out very very easily. Finger brush. More disappointed there’s no mount.

Real hair and it takes color so well! The ends were a little rough like usual with these practice heads and needed to be trimmed but the quality of the hair was fantastic and I had a great time dying it. Im looking forward to gradually styling it until shes bald 😭
