I did try the newer blades but not only were they significantly more expensive, I didn’t get
the feel of a close shave that I get with this blade. I also find that the older razor, which uses this
blade, gives a better shave without the “nicks” that I experienced with the new blade & razor.

I’ve got to agree with some of the other reviewers about the number of blades in a razor cartridge; overkill.
In my humble opinion, with experience of shaving for over 40 years, and experienced the next-best-thing
with more blades and strips and whatever, I have come to the conclusion that simple is better, so much
    better.

More than two blades is a waste. My face is just as smooth clean shaven as with any other multiple blade
cart. I also found that with more blades I accumulated more beard in between the blades and needed to
clean them out. This accumulation of beard hair caused my blades to feel less sharp. Once I cleaned out
between the 3 or 4 blades the comfort ratio increased again and the blades felt sharp again. Plus, the 3 or
4 blade cartridges did not clean up with a simple water rinse.

No more. Moving boldly back to a two-blade cartridge was an eye opener. The Gillette Sensor Carts clean
up easily with water. I have been using these blades again for the past 3 months almost daily and have no
complaints. They leave my face feeling smooth and soft.

Now possibly, possibly, having a heavy beard could be a problem for 2-blade carts. Maybe having more
blades for a heavier beard helps maintain a smooth face and makes it easier to shave. I have a moderate
beard and the Sensor carts are working very well for my face. I have used gels and foams and the result is
the same using the Sensor cartridges.

By the way, so there is no confusion about the number of carts you are buying; you will receive a total of ten
cartridges. Just like the package says, ten. There are 5 carts, in two plastic holders, for a total of 10.

5 Stars for the two-blade Gillette Sensor cartridges for making my life a little bit easier. I will definitely be
buying them again and be keeping it simple from now on.

Thank you very much for your business!

I have never understood why anyone thinks dragging five blades across your face is a good idea. Two blades are plenty. The razor that uses these cartridges is properly weighted and balanced for providing a good shaving experience.

I have ordered this product multiple times and the money value is good. Better than buying it at the big box stores.

The problem with disposable blades is they are too expensive! This is a decent price but, fundamentally, overpriced even at a discount.
Picking the right blade or, nowadays, blades in a disposable, really depends on your face.
I recommend Sensor because the handle works with both the two blade version and the three blade version. Most young men ONLY NEED two blades! Maybe by your late 20s, you can go to three blade. I can’t fit the four blade types around my nose for detail work. If you have big nostrils, maybe you can…
Here is a secret: if you need four blades, just stroke with the two blade twice!
Regardless, the secret to making blades last a long time is to DRY THEM when you are done. I make sure it is rinsed of hair and foam, then I shake it, tap it on my towel, then wipe the whole thing. Instead of a blade corroding in say two weeks, you might get four or more weeks. But it also depends on the time of year. Dryer winter means blades last longer. Humid summers (or locations) mean they go bad a bit faster.
Also, try different shave foams. I shaved with a brush using cream from a tube or jar as well as soap in a mug for many years. It does give the best shave but, you need to see which is best for you – cream, tube, or mug. Get the best pure badger hair brush you can, they last a lifetime! I have one I bought for well over $20 in the mid 1980s. That would be about $40+ today but I still have it and it still is the best brush. It is nothing fancy handle wise. So no fancy handle to jack up the price.
In winter, I use foam in a can that is heated. Simply because I like it!
    Meanwhile, blades are too expensive!

Non ho trovato le Excel ma queste sono un’ottima alternativa, sono meno scorrevoli delle Excel ma rasano comunque bene, una volta presa la mano.
