The razors are sharp enough and easy to handle, but I do not think they would be great for thicker beards or coarse hair. For myself it worked very well because I simply needed them for shaving my legs and underarms and they work well for my type of hair which is very light and sparse.

I loved Venus razors when they first came out, however, I have been unable to find any recent versions or other brands that work as well. I shave daily and haven’t found anything better for smoother legs and underarms AND these are so much cheaper than what you can buy anywhere else.

Love these razors for single-use! Price is the same as in-store, so I love the convenience of getting the same product that I love for the same price delivered to my door! I have purchased this several times and plan to continue.

I thought this would be great with mostly women in our house. It has a decent brand name behind it. But honestly, these are not great razors.
The handle is very ergonomic and feels great in my hand. They have two blades and a tiny strip that supposedly offers moisture. Um, no.
It was a bit painful to shave with these. I thought maybe I just didn’t put on enough shaving cream, so added another layer. Nope, still hurt, and did a so-so job of hair removal. If I put more pressure on the razor, it was catching bits of skin.
But my biggest beef that I didn’t notice when ordering, is that there is no little piece to push the hair out from the blades. You know, that little bit of plastic that helps you clean the blades.
So, while I thought I was saving money, I got a lot of a product that I really don’t care for. The handles are superior on the Venus razor, but the handles aren’t what cuts the hair.

Not a close shave as I would like but better than hot wax or wax strips. Ouch!!@
