I think some of the fact may be that it didn’t have the power to do one sweep. I also think it might need a head which is a bit bigger. Very disappointed as I have always loved Venus products.

It works well on unwanted facial hairs, but it is obviously not for those who might have larger areas to shave. I bought it as a gift. It is more of a “touch up” device and she’s happy with it. She likes the fact that it is not bulky and can be discreetly tucked into a handbag or a “go bag” without sacrificing lots of space. Powered by an AA battery, she’s not yet depleted the battery. Hard to guess how long the battery will last, but AA batteries are universally available.
A word of caution about the packaging. The brush is tucked into the bottom edge of the box in a separate container. It is easily overlooked and therefore easy to accidentally dispose with the other packaging.
