I’ve use half a gallon by itself and it smells good and I was happy to have a citrus and fruity smell. It does the job but not for long. I can wash my hair one day but by the second day my hair looks very greasy. The shampoo is also quite thin…
I started using a higher quality shampoo for one lather and then this shampoo for the second lather and it’s a much better experience…by itself it’s not the best shampoo but paired with a better quality shampoo it can extend the life of the shampoo when paired with another

You have to use a ton more to get your hair clean. No lather. Hair ends up flat, no body.

I don’t use any chemical weapons on my waist length hair, but have been having abnormal breakage for a while now. Expensive specialized shampoos have only been making it worse. I decided to try this because of it being sulfate free and hence reduce the breakage. I purchased the conditioner as well and have already noticed a significant reduction in the amount of breakage. Also, it removed the coconut oil from my hair with a single shampoo and condition. I usually have to rinse and repeat with both to get all the oil out. I’m very impressed and plan on trying out the other scents as well. It lathers nicely and smells very pleasant but doesn’t leave any lingering smell in your hair. Just nice and clean. My hair is finally on the road to recovery and feels great. I’m not sure, but I suspect that it would strip hair color. Just the nature of some of the natural oils in it.
