This cleanser is one of the few I have tried that doesn’t irritate my skin in some way. In fact, it actually feels amazing. My skin looks great. No breakouts or redness. Doesn’t dry out my skin or create oily spots. I have combination, sensitive skin. This cleanser works really well, and is worth the money. It seems a bit small, but you don’t need a lot. I would recommend it.

I bought the small size to test out this product after watching a YouTube video on how the company makes their products. (The video was how they distilled fresh banana for a moisturizer and fresh watermelon for their mist.) My skincare was limited to single ingredients- pure aloe, witch hazel- and why Glow Recipe products appealed to me.
I’ve never liked having a separate cleanser for face and generally prefer an all-over gentle goats milk soap for my sensitive skin. Every facial cleanser I’ve tried in the past ended up leaving my skin feeling stripped and even if considered ‘gentle’ it still resulted in irritation, redness and dry spots with regular use. Then I’d inevitably end up with blemishes from clogged pores trying to combat that with products. It wasn’t worth the struggle when my bar soap worked without a problem, I just had to limit wearing makeup.
This Blueberry Bounce cleanser has wildly changed my mind. It doesn’t make my face feel tight and actually removes makeup and oil completely without throwing my skin off balance! I don’t feel like my pores are left vulnerable either. I’ve used it twice a day for two months and my skin has improved so much even while wearing makeup more regularly. I think this product has been a big part of that. It’s become the base for a 10-step K-beauty routine I’ve slowly grown into after getting curious about this company and Korean skin care in general! A little product goes a long way and I appreciate the high quality of ingredients that make it so effective even in small amounts. A single pump of this gel lathers into enough to thoroughly cover my face and neck, so it’s lasted a long time and feels cost effective to invest in- I’ve just bought a full sized bottle and plan to keep this as a travel bottle in my overnight bag. (If travel ever resumes.)
Washing my face is weirdly fun now and makes my skin feel strangely soft as if it’s naturally hydrated without having been moisturised. There’s no residue or film left behind, my skin feels bare but smooth like it had a long Epsom salt bath in just a few seconds.
I also tried the banana souffle calming moisturizer and love it, and look forward to trying more of their products!

This cleanser is good, It gets rid of dirt on my face and leaves my face feeling fresh. It has a faint scent of blueberry I can’t smell it that much though. Throughout my first try it did not cause and breakouts or any clogged pores. Within the first week I did see a difference and felt a difference.

I honestly have no idea if it’s legit or not since I’ve never tried it before & the smell reminds me of a fake body wash I once received from Amazon (kinda soapy fruity?) but I went to lather to test & no crazy suds (like just more soap was added to stretch it) so I tried it!
Im allergic to SLS (it gives me a rash immediately), I have very fair dry sensitive skin that’s allergic to soooooo much, I get perioral dermatitis (I’m just now at the tail end of a flare up), I started retinol a month ago (cause why not if my skin is already angry?!🤣), maybe hormonal acne? Idk I’m almost 40 and I have angry skin prone to breakouts equivalent to dogs barking at the wind…. BUT MY SKIN DOESNT FREAK OUT WITH THIS!
Normally, I use the banilla zero cleanser (the zero balm before that if I wear makeup), but wanted something more gentle for mornings & days I don’t wear makeup… although I still like the vanilla zero cleanser, it’s a little too cleansing/drying to use 2x a day. This fits the bill for a gentle cleanser for sure!
Even with AHA’s my skin didn’t get red or angry, and no burning the next morning on the days I used the tretinoin. With my barrier pretty dang compromised I’ve had to cut WAYYYY back on exfoliating, but the AHA’s in here seem to do enough to gently slough off most of the dry patches around my mouth and nose (the perioral dermatitis). Im not a fan of the price but a little goes a long way and my skin feels fantastic (and is improving every day!)… I’ve only been using this for a few days so I guess I’ll update if anything changes!

So i got this a couple weeks ago OMG when i tell u its my favourite i use it religiously. It smells like blueberry muffins it’s so good and the size (I got small) lasts along time I bought it in march and now is may and it looks like it has never even been opened even though I use it every day. Definitely recommend buying this and it’s preppy because it’s glow recipeee.

I’ve spent a fortune on skincare trying to save my skin from acne and redness and for some reason Glow Recipe worked like magic for me. I dont know if its because I have combination skin or what?
I bought a trial kit from sephora and before I even finished the bottles my acne was gone and my hyper pigmentation was fading. I dont know what kind of magic they put in this stuff, but my skin absolutely loves it! I usually steer clear if anything scented, so I am glad that I even gave this a try. This cleanser smells so delightful that after I ran out of the mini bottle and had to use a different cleanser, I was so bummed out. Its such a light, refreshing scent that dissapears once dried. Some ppl complain of it being drying,, but I dont give my skin the chance to dry, ever. So I dont have that issue. While damp still, i follow up with the watermelon toner and the rest of my treatments/moisturizers. I’ve tried a few items from this brand and I have a couple in my routine that I cannot be without! It has done wonders for my skin.
I realize that nothing simply works for everyone, but if you’re like me and you like a cleanser that rinses away easily and takes everything off with it, then give it a try. Normaly I would say its a little pricey, but because it has contributed so much to clearing my skin, I beleive its worth its weight in gold!
