Summer in Texas is a whole different kind of suffering, and when I sweat too much, my skin gets very angry. I’ve tried so many things to solve the problem, but nothing worked until I started using Gold Bond Medicated Powder. The problem is that powder is kinda messy to apply every morning, so I had hoped this spray would be cleaner and easier. I was sorely disappointed.
The spray is definitely easier to control than powder, and it doesn’t leave white marks on the inside of my clothes. But if my skin is even slightly irritated, so little that it’s not even red or visibly angry, this spray stings like hellfire. Worse, it doesn’t seem to work as well as powder does. It absorbs some but definitely not all sweat, not like the powder does. And that means that by the end of the day, I’m dealing with red, itchy, burning skin again. Needless to say, I’m back to using the regular old powder, and my skin is grateful.

I like to use this during hot weather and being a spray, makes it so much easier to stay on my skin and also to apply. I used to use Arm and Hammer but this was less expensive and decided to give it a try and like it just as well.
