I’m sure it’ll wash out in 1-2 washes but it did stain my hair blue after first use, I had platinum that I treat with purple but my roots were the orange concern and they’re still pretty brassy some how. Dyed my platinum/white blue but did not neutralize the orange? ?????

I keep searching for a shampoo that will counter the red tones in my medium-brown-colored hair. I’ve tried several, and most are too weak to have any effect. Goodbye Orange didn’t offer much in the way of cancelling out the red, but it did dry the heck out of my otherwise healthy hair. I only left it on for the the suggested three minutes. No go for me. Would not recommend if you want to keep your hair healthy and supple.

I am so happy that I bought this product! My hair was quite red/orange due to getting processed a few times in a row and I wanted it to be a more natural looking ashy light brown. After trying it once and leaving it in for 3 minutes I can say that this product definitely works. I am so glad I found something that is cheaper than getting my hair toned in the salon.

Excellent product that will keep your hair far from brassy and save you an arm and leg at the salon by keeping your highlights light!
Do not let it linger on your hair or your hair will turn green but a regular shampoo with this bad boy once a week is perfection!
Make sure to use a hydrating shampoo the rest of your washes as these shampoos will dry your hair out in order to work their magic. But if you take care of your lovely locks with nurturing conditioners and oils you won’t have to worry! Excellent product!

Champu para matizar en pelo Castaño, lo uso para mantener a raya el subtono naranja. Uso 2 veces por semana, si te pasas el pelo adquiere un subtono verde asi q no lo recomiendo para uso diario. En mi caso lo recomiendo al 100% al teñirme por las canas, la calidad de mi pelo hace que al mes el pelo tenga un subtono entre naranja/rojo horrible. De los que he utilizado sin duda el mejor.

After using this shampoo my hair turned green. I left it on for 3 minutes and it did not neutralize my orange tones. Instead it turned all my blonde highlights green. Would not use this again.

This product is a miracle! I’ve tried about 5 different purple shampoos and conditioners in the last several weeks trying to get the orange-brassy tones out of my recently highlighted hair, to absolutely no avail. After some research I learned I might need blue for my darker blonde pieces, to counteract the orange. Enter “Goodbye Orange”! After ONE use, for exactly 5 minutes, I was in disbelief to see that my orange tones are completely gone. I am amazed. I will also follow the advice of some fellow reviewers and mix this with regular shampoo for following uses, as I don’t want to end up with blue or green hair — and I can see why it happens, this stuff is POWERFUL. Adding two before and an after pic. EDIT: I have an orange tone lightbulb above me in the “after” pic giving off some orange glow on top of my head but hopefully you can still see the difference

I love Schwarzkopf products but this is a HUGE no .. N-O! Please do not buy this. I’m all for purple/blue shampoo and wanted to try something different and this completely ruined my colour! Stick with the goodbye yellow! Don’t waste your money!

My hair was so red-ginger it made me feel horrible. It looked bad in the sun but after using this my hair is completely brown, light brown (my natural is dark brown) but I’m glad it got it all out. Overall an amazing product for darker hair.
