These holders do hold well, but when they advertise on the packaging that they will always bounce back, I expect that they will. These will eventually stretch out because of the way that they are made. There is a bigger section that isn’t gathered and that section is the one that stretches out. I don’t know if it’s necessary or a design flaw. The colors are great though and they are durable, just that one section gets stretched out.

I have wavy, thick, course, long hair and my daughter has fine, thick, straight, mega long hair. These work beautifully on both of our hair, they never get hair mangled up in them, they’re easy to put in and remove and there is no breakage with these. With the “no ouch” pantyhose type hair ties they are easy to put in but they stretch out and her hair gets tangled up all around them if she wears them during sports or sleeps in them and we have to cut them out. With these hair ties neither of those things happen. LOVE THEM!!!

My daughters both have really thick hair and we struggle to get Ponytail holders that don’t break our stretch out enough that you need to get it arrive one more time to make it hold but can’t… then it’s not tight enough. These are never a problem and are the best at holding hair through my oldest daughter’s gymnastics team practice! That’s saying a lot. I highly recommend.

I mean I love the colors yes, but for me the best part if the thickness of the hair ties and how well they hold up my extremely thick hair on a daily basis. The little bead on them for added support does help, and the grooves in each hair tie work great too. No pulling hair, they stay pretty much the same shape for a long time- they don’t stretch out too much. BEST PART- I have NEVER EVER had one of these break on me!! I think they’re all around GREAT!!

My 6 year old daughter has thick, but very fine hair. The plastic baby ones make her hair break, but regular bands never stay put and slide out of place with regular day to day activities. This is the first rubber band that has held her hair up all day long! Very pleased!!

If you have thick, curly hair and are tired of wrapping the hair tie around 3x and cause breakage then this is your hair tie to buy! When it’s fresh out of the package you honestly only have to wrap it twice for it to hold. Now after 3ish months you might need to wrap it 3x but I tend to wear a low pony so I don’t have too much breakage. I love the fun colors and durability of this product!

I’ve been a runner for 23 years and these are the best hair ties I’ve ever had! They actually hold my hair without pulling it tight to the point of headache. They don’t break, and will maintain their stretch!!
