For what seems like years I considered getting this and finally I splurged on myself because I’m worth it! 😉 The experience of this shampoo is luxurious. You only need about a teaspoon of the salt paste applied to your hair and scalp. Just make sure your hair is wet first. What I noticed most about this right after I got out of the shower was how clean and refreshed my scalp was.
Normally my scalp has been a little itchy lately and today I’m feeling total calm and no itching! When I feel my hair now that it is all dry I can sense the softness and I notice more body and fullness to my fine hair.
This product does not weight down hair, but rather lightens it as it removes product build up. And if you use mousse or gel you will appreciate that aspect of this cleansing shampoo. Since you only need to use so little this is a good value! I love Goop products and can also recommend the lip balm which is so wonderful. I just got more!
The scent of this salt scrub is also more like essential oils – it is not that strong but you can definitely tell there are essential oils in this! So a high-quality product.
I’m happy I finally tried it and will get it again. But one container is going to last a while!!! You only are supposed to use it every three or so shampoos but I can see myself using it even more often because it is so fun to use.

I threw away all of my other hair wash products. This stuff is amazzzzing. And you don’t need conditioner. I just use my leave in. It’s worth the money. A little goes a long way which makes it more reasonable. After I use it my hair feels clean and soft. Dries less frizzy too. Smells wonderful. I can’t wait to try other goop products.

This is PERFECT for cleaning out a bunch of dry shampoo or hairspray or if your scalp is just really oily. I have an oily scalp and fine hair, and i love the way this suds almost like an actual shampoo. The best part is that my hair doesn’t get super tangled from it, and you don’t have to use a lot for it to be effective.

During the Summer months I always sweat from head to toe. I have long, thick blonde hair and I thought I would try this product for the exfoliating benefits for my scalp. WOW! THIS STUFF WORKS BEAUTIFULLY. I use this product every 3rd or 4th shampoo depending on how hot it’s been and how dirty my scalp feels. I can definitely tell that this scrubs one’s scalp and it feels great. Hair is shiny, manageable and super clean. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. I recommend this product.
