I have 4 c hair and when I got my hair braided, my stylist used this and it held me edges down nicely. Its smells wonderful and it doesn’t flake. My only problem is that it doesn’t hold up well with sweating. I slicked my edges with the product, tied my hair down, and went about my day. After a few hours, my little curly pieces started to rise lol. Will still use for going out tho!

The hold is okay but not great especially if your doing a slick back anddd going out in the sun. WORSTTtTttT COMBO and definitely not for the edges cs they don’t last no matter where you are. It feels like a gel to me but the GOOD THING about it is it doesn’t turn white!!!

i was debating whether or not if i should buy this product. it’s really hard for me to lay my edges/ hair down all day and having them flare right back up and sweating all over the place and it causes me to be really insecure about my natural hair as a black girl. ive tried edge booster, ebin, mielle edge control, she is bomb. and etc.. but using this product gave me the confidence. and it really keeps my hair down all day and NEAT. i was even able to wear my natural hair styled. to school all day with no problems. and i have about 4c/4b hair its really soft and curly. and very thick so this did the JOB I LOVE IT.!! girl go get it. you wont regret it. <3 and its smells so good like watermelon. it does NOT FLAKE white crust or cause irritation it is oily only because you have to use little product. not too much. but this gel is overall the best .
