I have professional scissors that cost 100s of dollars (i wish i was joking) but i ordered these to use temporarily when I misplaced my entire equipment case awhile ago. I’ve never used the “thinning” scissors, but the regular ones work pretty well! For now at least, they’re nice and sharp. I actually still use them even though i’ve found the “good” scissors.
I wouldn’t recommend them for long term professional use though (they could get you through cosmo school, but you’ll need something better if you’re doing multiple clients a day every day). If you’re just using them to cut hair occasionally at home though, they’ll probably stay nice and sharp for a long time!

I cut my on hair at home with these and I’m impressed by the quality of these scissors. I have thick hair but I was able to cut it without any problems. The thinning shears are also great to make the hairstyle look softer. They are also comfortable for the fingers when working with them for a longer period of time. Very sharp, not that heavy.
