This is a great little hair dryer. It really heats up quickly and has a strong fan. I thought claims of “fast drying” were some marketing bs but I genuinely can say that I can dry my hair faster that I have ever been able to with other hair dryers (For context, I typically buy simple and cheap hear dryers, usually from a big box store or similar). I love the ease of use, the size and how effective it is.
I would recommend it.

I ordered this Osou high-speed negative ion hair dryer for my guests to use. It’s even more adorable in person. This baby pink hair dryer is powerful and pretty. It’s lightweight but it dries hair more quickly and with less frizz and flyaways than regular hair dryers. There are two buttons, like with most hairdryers, one for speed and the other for temperature.
The digital display screen is helpful and unique, I’ve literally never seen a smart hair dryer before, nor have I seen one with a screen! This is a great dryer for protecting hair (and skin) from being overheated and overprocessed. It’s possible to dry my hair on the coolest setting which promotes curl and overall health. The end result is more polished than with other dryers. This was a great find and may spend more time in my bathroom than in the guest bathroom!

This product arrived very quickly! It came in a nice, heavy duty box. The product is compact and of average weight. Lifting my old one (a Revlon 1875W ceramic ionic) and this at the same time it’s hard to tell a difference, even thought this one is smaller. Regardless, it isn’t heavy or bulky, so that’s a win in my book. I do NOT use a hair dryer daily, just only when necessary.
The air speed on this thing is wild. It’s advertised as high speed, and it delivers. I didnt notice a huge difference between speeds I or II, though. And with that being said, I do wish the lower speed was a bit less intense. You slide the switch up to the I or II on the back of the handle to turn it on, which is pretty typical placement and method to turn on a hair dryer. The air automatically comes out cool, and you have to hit the circle button above the slide/power function to make the air warm (1x) or warmer (2x) and hot (3x) and the digital screen immediately starts to show a reading when you do. The air changes temperature very gradually. I consider the hottest temperature it gets (135) warm/not that hot. I don’t mind this because I dont prefer high heat, but if you prefer hotter, this isnt the one for you. I’ve never thought of how warm a dryer gets like I do my hair straightener, so I’m not sure how useful a digital screen will be for me/in general.
I do wish the buttons and the labels were darker/more visible colors. I think silver isn’t the easiest to see on the light pink, even though the unit is pleasing to the eye overall.
Because of the placement of the air filter, your area to hold on the dryer is limited. Each time I’ve used it so far, I’ve found myself wanting to adjust my grip lower, but I can’t because of that. Just a tad annoying, but hopefully a small sacrifice as I hope the filter extends the dryer lifespan. Also, a con for this is it is fairly loud because of the high air speed. Not that any dryer is super quiet, but you can definitely hear the power behind the air flow on this.
As for the actual performance on my hair, I’ll give some background first: my hair is long (belly button/waist length), brown, fine in texture (very slippy and knots easily) and not pin straight but not wavy. It’s not thin but not super thick, either. I typically feel the need to straighten my hair after blow drying so it isn’t so puffy/slightly frizzy and just looks a bit more sleek and put together Air drying alone takes anywhere from 2-5 hours for me. Typically, I’ll air dry part/most of the way, then use a dryer. From about 50% air dried, I used this dryer and afterwards still felt I could use a straightener, but thats also how I prefer my hair to look. It definitely didnt need more and felt and looked fine with just drying. Then again, I also dont use much product. Also a side note, if you have a certain way you need to hold your brush to dry your hair in a specific style, have it ready before you turn this dryer on. It does dry quickly because of the high air speed so you need to be ready.
Truly, I was in desperate need of a new hair dryer as my old (OLD) Revlon kept cutting out when my cord would turn a certain way. So far this has worked great for me. So far I do recommend it and hopefully can continue to say so in the future!

This hair dryer is one of the cutest “appliances” I’ve ever seen. It is sleek, modern, and so very baby pink. It seems very well made with a sturdy cord. I love the look.
I also like that the dryer is lightweight, but powerful. For a dryer with this power, it is not too loud. The relatively small size makes it great for travel.
It takes only seconds to understand how to use it. You slide the oval switch up one notch and the hair dryer is on low speed. Push the oval switch all the way up and the hair dryer is on high speed.
The button above that button allows you to adjust the hair dryer’s temperature by pressing it. The first setting is cool (my preferred setting) and the digital screen is in blue to indicate cool. If you press the second button once, the temperature gradually goes up to 100 degrees F, which is registered on the digital screen in red. Press it again and you go up to 113 degrees F. One more press and you go up to 133 degrees F, which is also in red, is the dryer’s maximum temperature, and is considered hot.
I like the fact that this dryer doesn’t get hotter than 133 degrees F. Heat is so damaging to hair. So far, I’ve dried my hair only on the coolest setting and it works great. This dryer dries my hair quickly and my hair looks smooth and shiny when I’m done. This dryer feels like a very high quality product that is built to last.
