I liked the idea of a curling iron + straightener in one, but the plates are not flat on both ends within the mouth of the flat iron. One side has plates that reminds me of how kids draw the tops of castle walls, -_-_-_-_.
Although my hair is curly and looks full, the texture of my hair is very fine, so this device couldn’t straighten my hair. It worked okay for wavy-style and barrel curling, but not for straightening.

I have shoulder length hair & bought this to help speed up my hair routine and cause less damage to my hair. I like to put some curl into the ends of my hair and this iron seems to be a little too large for my length of hair which is a little below my shoulders. The iron heated up quickly & I like that the cord can rotate around so it doesn’t get twisted up. I need to use it a few more times to determine wether it’s too wide for me when trying to curl my hair or judge the feel and appearance of the hair texture after using. Aside from that it’s a good value for the price and seems to be of good design and construction.

I read the air flow on the outside of the barrel would be cool air to set the curls.
Unfortunately all I get is hot air.

I like the long barrel for my long hair and it worked well for straightening my hair and getting rid of the frizz. I tried curling my hair at different temperatures and same day washing my hair or 1 or 2 days later but the curls didn’t last very long. I was disappointed because some videos of users showed them even after brushing their hair they had curls or waves. My hair is fine and thin and very frizzy in Florida humidity so decided to keep it for the straightening feature and keep trying to get curls to last. It was easy to use and very quick temperature start up but the design and placement of the temperature button was too easy to accidentally hit so have to keep readjusting the temperature.
