This brush heats up quickly, but it is not hot enough to get all the waves out of my hair. It is very simple to use. Do not expect this brush to get the tangles out and straighten your hair. Your hair does have to be detangled before using. My hair is wavy and thick. The brush did a good job of smoothing my hair, but it could not get out all my waves. If it were a hotter, it would do a better job. This still can be used for a quick smoothing look. It just won’t be fully straight.

I love how easy it is to use! The build quality feels solid, and it’s small enough to be portable, making it perfect for traveling. One thing to note is that it does take a little time to heat up, and it also takes some time to cool down after use. This isn’t a big issue for me, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a hurry. For my thick, curly hair, I have to run the brush through a few times to get it straight, but it still only takes about 10 to 15 minutes in total for me. I usually use it when my hair is slightly damp, and it works great. I prefer this over a regular hair iron because the flat iron sometimes burns my hair. So far, I haven’t had that problem with this brush. It leaves my hair smooth without the risk of damage.

I’m on the fence with if I think this is a good deal or not. I have naturally wavy hair (a C2 rating). This heats up quickly, but does not get as hot as my flat iron, which can go to 450F. I do like that you just naturally brush your hair, but you have to pass it through a number of times before noticing a difference. Someone with curlier hair may notice a difference more quickly. I do notice that this helps to tame the frizzy bits of my hair. The key difference to a flat iron is that the flat iron can make your hair almost too straight, whereas I think this gives a more natural look.
This fits well into my hand. It comes with 2 clips and a heat glove. However, I did not have an issue with the bristles touching my skin – I would not recommend directly touching the brush, just noting I did not feel a need to put on the heat glove.
I would not use this every day since hair should not be subjected to heat every day, but since this doesn’t get too hot, I think you can use this a bit more often than a regular flat iron.

This is a great thermal brush. It seems very well made and the color pattern is very nice and stylish. It heats up just like it should and does what you’d expect it to do. These are pretty good for kinky hair, and even men can use them (for their beard). Overall, it’s nice and I have no complaints.

This Ionic Straightening Brush works well to take some of the curl out of your hair. This brush does not work as well as a flat iron but it is effective to take some of the curl out. Basically you brush your hair with the straightening brush and as your hair goes through the brush heat is applied. If you hold the end of your hair as you are brushing it applies pressure holding your hair against the heated brush. Using the brush that way will get more of the curl out but as I stated not as straight as a flat iron. Overall I really like it!

This hair straightener comes with two hair clips and a heat-resistant glove to protect your hands while using the brush. Experienced users won’t need the glove. The straightener has 3 heat settings and takes a couple of minutes to heat up. This brush can be used to give soft curls as well as straighten hair.
The ceramic plates are actually the inner brush bristles so that your hair is straightened in multiple places as you brush. It is super easy to use, and I was surprised at how quickly and efficiently it straightened my hair. It is made to be used on dry hair, so you’ll still need to blow dry before using.
This is also a great way to touch up your hair if you have slept on it and are not washing it that day. There are three heat settings on the brush.
There is a sticker on the brush that has a tab so it looks like it’s a protective sticker that you would peel off, but it’s not. The sticker has the temperatures for each of the heat settings. If you peel it off, you won’t be able to identify what the temperature.
This straightener makes super-fast work of straightening hair by just brushing. It can even be used to create a slight curl up or under as needed when you get to the bottom. It is so much faster to use than a traditional straightening iron.
DRW –
This straightening brush isn’t as effective as my regular hair straightener, but it tames my hair and gets out the waves in my hair caused by my ponytail holders. It pretty small but it feels very durable. I’ve dropped it a couple of times and it has not caused any damage. If you can get this with a coupon then I would recommend it.
