Stretches out. Not worth the money.

These are horrible: the left is a brand new, unused elastic, and the right is after one day’s use. It was stretching out within 2 hours – I had to loop it around three times, which definitely contributed to how stretched it ended up, but it wasn’t holding my hair. (I have a lot of hair, but it’s quite fine: my ponytail is only 2″ in circumference, max.)

I got some like this at 5 Below last year and I wanted more so I thought I would try these. They’re not as good. They’re thin and slip more. My ponytail or bun loosens up in them. Also when I got them one was halfway ripped in one spot. I guess they’re what you pay for..? Except the ones I got from 5 below were better. There’s better ones out there than these for comparable prices.

They’re comfortable, the color matches my hair pretty well, and they’re super stretchy which makes it easy to get the hairtie on as tight as I need it to be.

I like that these hair ties are more gentle than traditional hair ties! I’ve found less of my hair is getting caught and ripped out! These are super great if you are looking for a cheap alternative to regular hair ties that are better for your hair!
