I don’t think it’s right for my hair type. It makes my hair feels like there’s still product in it after showering. I have thick but fine hair. I descend from Russian/NativeAmerican genes, though my hair did mostly receive European traits. So if someone has similar hair, I suggest using a different brand unfortunately

The reason I only gave 3 stars is because sometimes the pump doesn’t work and that’s one of the reasons I buy this because I like the pump. Other then that I love everything about the shampoo & conditioner! It makes my hair look good and healthy

If you have a child with tangle issues this is the product you need! Omg, we have tried everything and her baby fine hair still tangled, we tried just the shampoo and conditioner (no masks or detanglers) and it’s Amazing the difference in her hair. So easy to brush! We do not need any other products, her hair is so soft and still easy to manage for days!
I love this product so much and I am so grateful that it works!

I’ve been using this product for 10 years and will not go back. You’ll understand once you purchase it. My hair has never felt more natural and healthier. Hair stylist I’ve been seeing always compliments my hair before and suggests using for thicker hair but lighter usage with thin will still do magic.

It took a minute to get the hang of using the shampoo and I do go thru 1.5 bottles of shampoo before I go thru a bottle of conditioner. Which is crazy bc I use too much sometimes when I haven’t washed in a min and also bc using more shampoo vs conditioner has been unheard of since having hair! My mom was a cosmetologist so I used nice stuff when she was buying and cheap when I started buying (OG herbal essence was 💣) Biolage and now this Hempz has been my absolute favorite!
I have a TON of fine hair little more thicker and coarse at hair lines… a daughter with thick wavy hair and another daughter with stringy looking hair… The conditioner hydrates without looking greasy which is amazing for my teen who over produces oil right now… and me begetting old and dried up.
To not waste so much shampoo I focus on washing in quadrants basically. Like semi not even half pump. so as I said I have tons of hair! But the product is easier the more wet your hair and hands are, semi pump, rub together in hands to activate, add to scalp of section.. re wet new section and hands and repeat other 3 sections… rinse with warm H2O. Then apply to whole head 1 full and maybe a half more if I was lazy working in the quads. Rinse with cooler than before h2o.. THIS has saved my arms from feeling like noodles trying to work the shampoo in my mop! Then add half to full pump of conditioner to their ends and work it up all the way to the scalp. Yep the scalp. I have lots of long fine hair so you would think it was thick but really it’s a lot of stringy nap. So I work it all the way up just very very little at top, let it sit as I shower, and rinse with cold to seal, cool myself down and close pores!

Holy cow! This shampoo and conditioner is THE BEST. Finally! I’ve been using a salon brand for years and for some reason the quality has been going down the drain. Literally. I decided to give hempz a try (I love the lotion and have everyone in the house using it now). After using it my hubby commented on how soft my hair was… it had zero frizz (which has become my quarantine norm)… and the smell is fantastic! He likes it so much that he threw out every other bottle we had in the house.

I have eczema and all the creams my dermatologist had given me, I found no relief from them. I was tanning one day at my local salon and was listening to a televised advertisement on the benefits of Hempz products. I decided to give them a try. I started with the cream, went to using the shower gel and now the shampoo and conditioner. These products have made a world of difference in the appearance of my skin. I’m going to continue using Hempz products because they are safe and effective. I give this Hempz Shampoo and Conditioner 5 stars as it is definitely a great product! I would recommend this product 100%
