My son has a big head. He’s only four but wears a bike helmet sized for an 8-14 year old. When he wanted a king costume and the crown that came with it didn’t fit him, I bought this set, thinking that an adult-sized crown would be perfect. Nope. It doesn’t even begin to go around his head. This might work for someone who could sit perfectly still and balance it on their head, but I don’t see how it would work even for an adult. The tiaras are really nice, though, and work for my daughters (who also have big heads, so I think it’s just an issue with the king crowns).

We were having a prom themed party and needed crowns for Prom Royalty. We used the gold ones for the King and Queen and silver for Prince and Princess. Looked great and were lots of fun. The boys’ fit ok but could have been a bit bigger. The girls’ were pretty good but would come out if you weren’t careful. Had to adjust now and then.

The crowns were used for homecoming. They were very nice and will be a great memory for the winners. We used the circle crowns for the boys and the tiaras for the girls. The circular crowns are a bit feminine because they match the tiaras but they were not so feminine that they looked out of place on the guys.
