I’ve been experimenting with how much mousse to use on my wavy, fine hair, and the answer is: as little as possible. The instructions say to apply while your hair is wet but if you put too much in, it ends up looking wet all day. I wish Herbal Essences made a mousse with a looser hold; the smell is lovely but I want something with a little less grip and a little more play.

It feels so light on the hair and I love its fragrance a lot as its too good and can grab anyone’s attention 😉 . Its the perfect mousse for all functions and stays as long as you wash it off.

I have tried soooo many curly hair products. Some costing as much as 50.00 and they either left my hair dry, or they irritated my scalp. This one didn’t irritate my scalp at all. And it left my hair soft. This photo was taken without me using a diffuser. It left a slight crunch, not very much all I did was use my fingers to soften the curls and the crunch was gone. This product is NOT STICKY at all. That sold me. I can’t stand hair products that leave my hair sticky and knotted and I can’t even run my fingers through my hair. This is the best!!!!!! And to think it’s so cheap and I was buying all these expensive products 🤦🏽♀️

I recently tried Mousse, Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl-Boosting Mousse with Berry Essences, 6.8 oz and I’m in love! It smells amazing and it’s really light so my curls don’t feel weighed down. It’s perfect for when I want to define my curls without making them crunchy. Plus, it’s affordable too! doesn’t feel sticky and leaves my curls looking bouncy and defined all day long. I also love the Berry Essences scent – it’s not too strong but enough to make me feel refreshed. Mousse by Herbal Essences has been a lifesaver for my curls. It makes them look bouncy and full of life. I love the berry scent, it’s not too overwhelming but still adds a nice touch to my hair. The mousse is easy to apply and keeps my curls in place all day without feeling crunchy or sticky. Definitely worth the price!

I saw this on a website listing it one of the top mousses for curly hair. Scent was okay but it was not great for curly frizzy hair. my hair was supper puffy and frizzy looking with this mouse, the opposite of what I was going for. it doesn’t really sink in well to dry hair. waste of money. was not impressed with “frizz control”.
