Love this oil! I have very dry skin that occasionally gets oily on the middle of my forehead. I have never had acne in my life until about 4-5 months ago. I kept breaking out over every little thing. So I decided to switch things up and bought the travel sized kit for $39. I wanted to see which products I preferred most before buying the full size. This moisturizer came in that kit and I fell in love! Whenever I ran out, I purchased the full size. Definitely worth it. My skin is so happy now. My acne has calmed down drastically & all of the red irritation is gone! I like that it has a very underwhelmingly light scent & its a dry oil… so your skin drinks it up instead of it sitting on the surface for hrs. I use mine in the morning, during the day, before applying makeup, & after washing my face at night!

A heavy oil but very nourishing. Melts into the skin and I woke up plump and glowing when I used it! Will be buying a full size bottle! A great winter option, will be moving to a lighter weight oil for summer but this is great for the dry cold winters!

I’ve tried many serums and this is among my top three. I have sensitive skin and am 73. My skin absorbs this serum quickly, there is no scent which is a plus for me. I couldn’t do without it, especially in winter.

I love this so much. It smells so light and feels like heaven on my skin. Even better though, are the improvements in my complexion. I have more even toned skin and my pores are tinier (how!?! I’ve tried so many products to no avail). I have combination / oily skin. This helps keep my oil at bay and imparts this beautiful glow. I love it. I use it morning and night and have had it for only two weeks. I use the herbivore rose coco mist and then about 6 to 9 drops of the Phoenix oil. I have not even made a dent. I hope to have this for a while and will definitely repurchase as soon as it gets low! Also, the packaging is so beautiful to look at, however the glass does make me a bit apprehensive since I don’t know it would survive a fall on a hard surface. Nonetheless, the glass is thick and the dropper is sturdy so it could probably survive a few falls, but hopefully I can refrain from being clumsy when handling the bottle!

I have been using this oil twice a day for a few weeks now. I wash first with the Pink Clay soap and follow up with this. Does not leave skin oily at all. I bought the small bottle since I wasn’t sure how I would like it but I will definitely get the bigger bottle next time, I’m not a fan of the roller on this. For the last few days I’ve reduced the amount of make-up I wear to work because my skin just looks good, smooth. I’m only wearing mascara and lip gloss. TMI… I had to start taking bc pills and had a huge breakout on my chin, this oil helped with healing much quicker than I normally would.

I bought this to help fade a bad brow microblading. It is helping to fade but I noticed how great the skin around my brows looked so I started applying to the rest of my face. I love this stuff. My winter dry skin has disappeared and my face looks dewey and glowing. Will order the larger bottle!

Recently I got a facial and 70% of the products they used were Herbivore and I instantly fell in love (and so did my skin). They used the Phoenix Oil on my skin and I loved the smell and feeling so I wanted to get a small travel size one for my gym/airport make up bag. So I ordered the mini roller ball Phoenix Oil and after just a couple of uses my skin (which is on the dryer side) feels amazing. Sometimes i’ll use it before bed and when I wake up my skin is plump, glowing, and hydrated. I also use it when i’m blending out my foundation with a kabuki brush, to give my skin a more dewy appearance and keep it hydrated throughout the day (especially during winter). It’s nice because it’s more of a “dry” oil, meaning that you won’t go to bed and stick to your pillow if you use it at night, it seeps in right away and goes straight to work!
The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is strictly because of the packaging. The roller ball makes it hard to use as an oil to mix with my foundation because I have to roller it out on the back of my hand and then wipe it off my hand with my brush. I guess you could roll is directly on your face but thats just not my style, it feels a little unsanitary. But again that has nothing to do with the product just the packaging.
Next time, since i’m already in love with the product, I’ll just order the full size bottle and transfer some of it to a small dropper bottle for travel purposes!
