I’ll start off by saying I do not use this for scalp hair because I shave my head bald, but I do however use this for my beard, and it works great. It’s usually hard to find a good beard conditioner, so I typically just shampoo, but only using shampoo tends to dry my beard out and make it tough to manage. After using Hims for the very first time it left my beard feeling fuller, softer, and easier to maintain, so I’d say it works as advertised. I thought it was going to have a strong smell, but it’s very light and fresh, therefore leaving room to add my beard products after the shower without distorting any scents. As for the value, I’d say it’s priced a little higher than I’d like, but given the ingredients and quality I’d say it’s on par with designer salon products. I would’ve given it 5 stars, but I feel like you don’t get much product for the price, so I’ll have to only give 4 stars. It’s still a great conditioner, and it works well, so if you don’t mind paying a little more, I’d say it’s worth it.

This conditioner is fantastic! Seriously! It did add volume to my thinning fine hair to make it manageable when using hair cream to comb properly. So instead of having disintegrated threads, my hair was coming together nicely.
Can’t tell yet about the impact on growth or slowing down hair loss further (since I’m using other products for that), because that takes a long time to realize. But for what a conditioner is made for, it does deliver.
The bottle is squeezable and a little bit of conditioner covers the entire scalp (you don’t have to, and shouldn’t, squeeze a handful like they do in advertising). The only thing I don’t like is that the bottle is not friendly for the gym bag. This type of cap can accidentally open and make a mess in the bag, so for that I use the travel bottles and fill them up with the product for the gym.

With so many shampoos and conditioners on the market today it’s really hard to find something I like without an opportunity to try or smell it first. With this in mind I will do my best to review this to give you an idea of what this conditioner is like
I have thinning, wavy, non colored hair, just for your reference as you read this review.
First, these bottles are narrow, thin and tall. They don’t take up much room on the shower shelf, which is nice.
Second, I squeezed out a little less than my normal amount of conditioner the first time I used it to see if it would suds nicely with less product. It did, in fact I used only about 2/3 of my normal amount with this and the sudsing action in my hair was quite good.
Third, there’s a very strong scent, it’s not offensive, it smells like a spicy botanical clean, if that makes any sense. It didn’t make me sneeze, and definitely gives my hair a clean scent.
Fourth, after air drying my hair, my hair felt clean and light. With the wonderful scent.
It did not leave any oily residue. It did not create a dry scalp.
This conditioner is really nice.
Hopefully I was able to pass along my experience in a way that helps you decide for yourself.

I got this conditioner for my husband to use and he has been very happy with it so far. A little goes a long way and you only need to use a small amount each time, so with two bottles, these should last quite a while. The scent isn’t too intense or overwhelming and I have even used it myself several times. It made my husbands hair feel very soft after using it and I found that it made my hair easy to detangle and didn’t leave it feeling oily or greasy with any residue left behind. Overall, both my husband and I were happy with this conditioner, I didn’t notice any drastic increase in volume, but it left my hair soft and smooth.

I suspect that our conditioner experiences vary. That is certainly the case with me. I have fine hair, which can quickly become a greasy mess. So, I like a conditioner that adds volume with extra weight or oil.
Thinking of those concerns, this is one of the best conditioners I have ever used. It is also available for a great price!

I’ve ordered this conditioner twice and both times I have been sent the shampoo. HIMS needs to fix their product distribution. AMAZON was unhelpful since HIMS is “third party”. GET IT TOGETHER.

If you use a lot of product in your hair like me everyday, then this is a great option for a conditioner to revitalize that dry or crusty hair that is ridden with product. I use hair gel and spray daily and after a week with just my regular shampoo and conditioner, I use this product to really help it regain it’s volume, softness, and bounce. I leave it in a bit longer to let it work its magic and I can definitely feel the difference even in the shower and definitely as I blow dry it. My hair feels super soft each time without fail! Comes in two smaller sized containers, which also makes the price point a bit higher than usual.
