I often don’t like the “unscented” scent of organic products, so I was leery about this one, too, but decided to try based on the good reviews.
First of all, I love the smell of this! It has a gentle gingery smell with a little bit of floral scent. Nice and delicate smell.
Second, and more importantly, my face feels great after washing with this. I don’t feel too dry or itchy from washing with this. I am a 46-yo female with a combination skin type. I don’t need a lot of moisture after washing my face with this.

I use this product in the morning to cleanse my face before using other honest products to moisturize. It foams up very well in hands and feels and smells very clean. When I rinse it off with water there is a little bit of a weird slippery feeling before my face is completely dry. But otherwise it is a very light and refreshing cleanser.

It takes my makeup off completely and easily. I also like the gel aspect of it because it just feels good on my skin. No foaming to aggravate my skin, but just gel to soothe it.
For me, it absolutely calms and refreshes my face. I also feel like my skin is not as dry as it normally is since I have been using this. It also doesn’t really have a fragrance which my face appreciates.

I’m very new to the daily cleansing routine. I did research and found that honest is one of the best for first time users. The cleanser liquid itself is clear and water like consistency. Just a small amount will clean your entire face. After cleansing I noticed that my face isn’t dry, typically after a shower or wet face my face it is very dry. With this cleanser I don’t get that feeling. I also noticed a big difference after first use. Gave a glow and softness. I’ve been using it for a week now, and have loved it. I also pair it with a honest brand face mask, and serum.

I love The Honest Company’s products because they work exceptionally well and importantly are EWG-VERIFIED. This gel cleanser is SUPERB and has a unique scent that is a bit difficult to describe! Anyone who has issues with facial cleansers simply must try this product! A fairly limited amount of product can be dispensed, but I’ve discovered that even less — a mere pea-sized amount — is all you need to use. I add just a bit of water to the gel, rub the mixture between my hands for about 10 seconds, wait for a light lather to appear, and then apply it to my face. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and supple and there are absolutely no issues with dryness. In fact, it almost seems to be healing my skin in a few areas. I will definitely be buying this product again. I HIGHLY recommend it!
