I purchased plum drop and is is lovely on my fair skin. It is reminiscent of Clinique black honey, but slightly less pigmented. I’m allergic to castor oil, so black honey is a no-go for me and this could be a good alternative. However, even when it first arrived, it smelled “off” – like the waxy crayon smell when fats/oils begin to go rancid. That is the trade off for ‘natural’ products. Too bad because this is beautiful and my favorite of the dupes.

The perfect go to, when you are having some unexpected company just grab your honest and give her 2 quick whips 😂😂😂.. Its a nice natural tint that does the job, oh and can also smell the mineral oil if you have the nose for that kind of thing..

I’ve been on a kick of checking my makeup and skincare products against various apps and the EWG website. I actually did a fair purge of my products and felt really good about it. In terms of lip products I’ve leaned towards tinted lip balms in recent years over matte and transfer-proof lipsticks/glosses because I felt like they were aging my lips. So I bought the Lychee shade of Honest Beauty TInted Lip Balm. It went on easily and my lips felt hydrated and tinted without feeling dried out. I like the nude shade and will definitely be trying other shades to add to my rotation.

I purchased the color ‘Fruit Punch’ for it’s deeper reddish-pink tint, but the actual color is orange with a slight red tint. I LIKE the color, buuut I used a similar tinted balm for my summer-style. I was looking for a warmer autumn color. Apart from that, the tint is subtle, which is GREAT if you want to emphasize your eye makeup. This tinted balm adds a little splash of color. It’s also nice for layering!

I have very very sensitive lips to most of lip products and i keep looking for an affordable ‘non-toxic’ colored lip balm for daily use. 99.9% drugstore lip balms dispointed me. For example NYX butter gloss gave me tiny red bumps. Burts Bee burned my lips… So I have to get back to Dior lip glow which seems to be gentle, although its super expensive. When my husband saw me ordering another 11$ lip balm, he questioned me why I keep wasting money on cheap lip products that are highly potential to harm my lips. But it turns out this lip balm is very gentle, my sensitive lips approved. I feel like im wearing another 50$ Dior lip glow. Its soft, lightweight and smooth to apply, it even doesnt have a scent compared to Dior one. I reapply several times after I eat and at the end of day, my lips aren’t dried out. Girls please dont expect a 11$ lip balm does wonder to your lips just by one apply, it’s ridiculous. Im so happy that I found this product and Im gonna order more colors. Thank you Honest beauty, you just save my pocket!

What I love about this tinted lip balm is that it is a clean product and works well!
It was very hard to choose a color but I went with summer melon and I LOVE it! Super subtle but gives just enough. It goes on very smooth and I couldn’t believe how long it lasted through the day, I never had a lip balm last all day!
