I love this hair dryer. It’s powerful and doesn’t sound like a jet engine screaming in your ear. I had the exact one for a little over 4 years and have dropped SEVERAL times. It finally gave out I couldn’t find it at the store I originally purchased it so I tried another Hot Tools dryer (black) said everything was identical but it wasn’t. I found the (blue) one on Amazon and bought two. One for home and the other for travel/backup. I absolutely love it

This is my 3rd dryer and all 3 the exact one. The 1st one lasted years. The 2nd lasted 6 months and this one less than a year. I use it 2-3 times a week and have short fine hair. I am in my 50s and take care of my stuff. Each one the low speed button stops working and only high works. There’s a strong burning smell that isn’t there until the speed setting doesn’t work. My husband smelt it in the other room! Sad that they’re made like crap now.

This product works great and has a nice long cord but if you are using it on high heat the diffusing attachment becomes scorching hot, you will burn yourself if you try to remove it before it cools.

The one tiny problem I have is that the diffuser comes off if I comb it through my hair. Holding onto it while doing that gives me more control and keeps it in place.

This is a great hair dryer! It is powerful and has all the heat settings you need. Hot is nice and warm, but not dry your hair hot. The 2 main things I was looking for were light and quiet. I am pleased with this dryer for both of these items!! It is super lightweight and nice and quiet compared to other dryers. I actually went to Ulta and was able to test it out. The only reason I bought on Amazon is I had a gift card. If your an Ulta member, they have 20% off coupons often. I would have gone that route if I didn’t have the gift card. I am really happy with this hair dryer!!

The Good: Ionic feature is saving my damaged, brittle hair. Love, love the low heat setting. It’s more ‘cool’ without having to keep your thumb on the cool shot button. Something I’ve been looking for and haven’t found til now. Not especially loud. Has a long cord. Nice color.
The Not Great: A bit on the heavy side. Large. But it’s functionality is so good, I can’t get past that stuff.
