It works well against humidity. I tried it at home in the summer and it does protect the hair from humidity. However, I went to Punta Cana in July and it couldn’t protect my hair from frizz. In July, it is extremely humid in the Caribbean and the high humidity ruins my hair. It works great for a bit of humid air but not for the Caribbean humid air.

This did a really good job, but I had to drown my hair in it. I went to New York in the summer in 80% humidity and this held my hair up and kept it shiny, but it also made it very stiff and pretty sticky. I also had to use a lot of it but I don’t mind that since other hairsprays don’t work regardless of how much you use. So, if you plan on washing your hair the next day, I would say this is a good option, but if you are a curly girl like me, and have a silk press that you’re trying to make last, I would try something else because it is difficult to style your hair again after using. The scent is also nice, nothing very note-worthy.

Love this product! I live in Memphis, TN where the humidit is unreal! We have a tropical environment without being anywhere near a beach! This product keeps my hair tame! I have naturally curly hair, but this product keeps it from looking crazy and super frizzy!!

My hair gets wavy and curly in humidity. This works really well to keep both at bay when it’s humid. The trick is to make sure you get it all over. I divide my hair into sections and make sure I thoroughly get each section. It also makes your hair more shiny and smooth.

Worked really well for about 3 hours outside. Then poof, frizz. I live in Florida. Soooo….do with that what you will.
I’d recommend if you have an event or function to attend for a couple of hours. But anything beyond that, don’t expect much.

Please don’t ever stop making. No other product out there can do what this does, I’ve tried them all. I straighten my natural frizzy dry hair and this product adds smooth shine and keeps my hair that way until the next time I wash it (3 days later) without having to straighten my hair again. Locks out the humidity for days. I live in Florida and it keeps the frizzy away. Wash, dry, straighten, then spray and I’m good for 3 or 4 days or until I wash again. Not tacky or sticky. I have stocked up on this product in case they stop making it IGK can’t hold a candle to this product.

Joico comes through again a 5 star product. It sprays easy, doesn’t get gooped up. It takes my fine hair lay smooth, no frizz. My hair is shiny and natural looking after each spray. I love the mild fragrance.
