Hush & Hush SkinCapsule BRIGHTEN+ – Skin Brightening Vitamin C Supplement – Glowing Skin Beauty Vitamins – Reduces Dark Spots & Discoloration | Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten Free – 60 Capsules

Instead of brighten+ I received hush & hush’s immunity blend. It’s surprisingly, very very green. Deep dark green. You have to take 2 capsuls for a single serving. I would say that’s pretty normal. I actually prefer it this way, because if a manufacturer is claiming an array of ingredients, how are they able to fit enough amount in a single capsule? I feel like having a 2 capsule full provides more of the beneficial ingredient, in a more plausible amount. I apparently started taking this, as I was getting exposed to covid. So I don’t know how it would react if you started taking this ahead of time. It didn’t cure me of anything, but it didn’t make me feel worse, so it might have some immunity boosting effect.

There’s 60 capsules in the bottle so they are about $1 per pill. The directions say to take two capsules daily, so the bottle is a one month supply that works out to $2 per day for the pills (at the current price of $60 shown).
I feel like the cost is a little pricy for me to want to rebuy them, although I can’t argue the quality and nice packaging of them. I think if money were of no consequence to me I would probably just continue to rebuy and take them endlessly. I can’t really deduct stars for my cheapness, so I’m saying 5 stars.
The bottle is amber glass and it comes in a really nice round cardboard container that feels like an event to unbox. The presentation of them is actually nice enough to make it a giftable item. Even though it’s a slightly non-standard item to gift, it might work for somebody close to you like a mom who likes beauty and health items.
It’s a little difficult to tell if these pills alone are working or not, which is another reason I probably won’t rebuy them.
I say difficult to determine the effectiveness, as I’m also in the habits of using various face masks and serums in an effort to maintain a youthful completion. I also try to improve previous really bad habits with increasing my water drinking, healthier eating, less fast food, etc. So it’s hard to know at the end of the day if any changes in skin is due to products I try topically, eating and drinking changes, or these pills I’ve been taking. I figure though that it’s pretty harmless and simple in general to just take a pill though- so it’s worth a shot.
Conceptually I really like the idea of these, because the idea of a pill helping my skin or complexion seems like such a simple and easy way to improve my health that it seems like a win win. I like the idea of combining these with a good skin regimen of products too to really maximize that feeling that I’m doing everything I can to at least try to maintain some good skin as I age.
They are very easy to swallow and I never have any adverse reactions to them. They don’t taste like anything at all.
    Overall I’d recommend them.

What a gorgeous bottle of vitamins! It came in an equally beautiful cylindrical container. My *hope* is that it makes my skin gorgeous, too!

I wouldn’t normally spend more than $10-15 on vitamins, so these will have to show some drastic improvements to my skin for me to reorder these. It looks like the best results from some of these ingredients, such as Lutein, occur after taking these consistently for 12+ weeks…. that’s 3 bottles of this stuff (or, as my Mom brain works = $180). I’ve heard great things about Lutein, and how much it can even out skin tone, reduce dark spots and redness, and give your skin a “lit from within glow.” It’s also SUPER beneficial for eye health! I’m surprised this isn’t marketed for “Skin & Eyes.” This will be my first time taking a supplement with this in it.

So what is Lutein? It’s a carotenoid that filters blue light and protects skin from environmental factors, especially high-energy sources. It can block the formation of melanin pathways (bye-bye, dark spots), decrease cytokines, and increase antioxidants. Sounds fancy!

Obviously, I can’t attest to how well this works… YET. What I can say, though, is that these are completely odorless and tasteless capsules. No yucky vitamin taste, no vitamin burps…. nothin! They also don’t upset my stomach at all. I take these once a day, usually in the morning after breakfast. The directions don’t specify whether you need to take these on an empty stomach or with food, but I make sure to eat first to avoid an upset tummy.

There’s also Vitamin C (89% DV) & Zinc (38% DV) in these, which are also great for building immunity! We could all use a boost of that in times like these. 😉 These aren’t just good for your skin….

If I notice any dramatic results from these I’ll be sure to post some pictures and update ya’ll!

Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful. 😉
