I want to state plainly that for the average person this product and others like it are overpriced and completely unnecessary. Any basic antibacterial soap works fine for tattoos and piercings (if it’s needed at all). However… I am not a normal person and that sucks. I have extremely sensitive & reactive skin, artificial fragrances give me migraines, and I have to avoid a few other “natural” ingredients bc of reactions. So after having two nostril piercings done recently, I was having trouble finding something that ticked all my boxes and didn’t have added artificial fragrance. This was it – gentle, non-drying, no added fragrance, ingredients I knew wouldn’t aggravate my skin or give me a headache when I put it up my nose (looking at you OG Dial). When I started having trouble with healing and needed to add a soap to my normal saline routine, this worked great – saw an improvement almost immediately. It does have a *natural* scent due to the ingredients, but it’s mild and doesn’t hang around once it’s rinsed off. So if you’re like me and need something special because your body hates literally everything, it works great – give it a shot 🙂

Hustle Butter is my go to. This product helped with the healing stage and ensuring my new tattoo healed properly. I utilized this to wash my tattoo, basically any time I was washing my hands. Easy to throw in a bag for travel and a little goes a long way so it’s a great value to keep your new ink fresh and healing smoothly.
