This lotion is bloody delicious! I have been using the Hustle Butter and Hustle Bubbles for years when getting new ink. I had started using the butter after showering and as a cuticle cream but it was a bit heavy to use every day. When I saw this daily moisturizer I was so excited and it is just as lovely as I hoped. It is a wonderful texture – the perfect mix of the richness of the butter and the lightness of a lotion. Richer than your regular store bought lotion but not at all greasy or heavy. It soaks right into the skin and, of course, makes my tattoos look bright and healthy.
It also has the same beautiful scent of the butter. It smells like happiness with a touch of laying by the beach. It is worth every penny.

I have a lot of tattoos and have been looking for a daily moisturizer for a while now. I already have the Hustle Butter Deluxe butter and it’s so soothing and rejuvenates my tattoos and makes them look fresh, especially after a new one. I’ve been also looking for a daily moisturizer and saw that they just released this lotion that’s not tested on animals (which is HUGE to me) and it’s super luxurious! It has the same scent (beachy!) as the butter deluxe, and it’s smooth and creamy, and my skin just soaks it in. Oh and it’s a pump top, which makes it easy. Definitely 5 stars.

I love this lotion! I’ve tried several other options out there for healed or “more senior” tats of mine and this is my favorite by a long shot. It provides a nice non greasy layer of hydration for healed tattoos. I also feel as though it smooths my tats and brightens them somewhat. It’s like a matte hydrating top coat for your tattoos. The bottle is a good value. Good size for the quality and price point imo. Other similar options out there come in much smaller containers at similar or worse price points. The pump on the bottle is functioning well, doesn’t clog, and requires a light press. The simple black and white bottle looks good anywhere too-if you’re picky about aesthetics like I am haha. The consistency is pleasing and very easy to spread and the scent is nice and light. A little more subdued in this than the original aftercare Hustle Butter balm imo-which doesn’t bother me personally. Love this option though! So nice to have a convenient lightweight but still effective lotion for older healed tattoos. There are so many options out there that are just far too heavy or greasy that made me hesitant to properly care for my healed tattoos everyday-not anymore!

Recent purchase in order to try out this relatively new lotion. Light creamy texture and pleasant scent but still prefer Hustle Butter Deluxe balm which I’ve been loving and using for many years now. The latter is more rich and oily as it lacks the water content of the lotion. It absorbs well and I prefer the rich balmy texture and how it brings out the fullness of the tattoo. I’ll use up the lotion eventually since it is quite nice, but will stay with the HB Deluxe balm as my daily. For my money it’s the best tattoo balm out there, and I have tried others to compare. As an aside, it would be nice if HB had a lotion or spray with an SPF factor — preferably a 50 factor — as part of its product portfolio. (HB product development team…are you listening?)
