I have long hair and I want to give my hair a loose curl. The curlers have a nice foam on the curlers. They heat up semi quickly and the curlers hook into a horizonal bar. There are just 8 – 2 inch curlers. They are quite large and the securing devices are just two prong hooks. This is the downfall of the curler set. The hooks are not secure and the curlers slip. If you move the two prong hooks allow the curler to move. You have to sit perfectly still so the curlers don’t move. It was ridiculous to use them with the clamps with two fingers. I would order another set of clamps to secure the curlers.

Just doesn’t work well for fine hair. The rollers are too heavy for the clips so it’s hard to get them to stay securely. Also, the heat settings aren’t great. Low does nothing but waste your time, and high is so hot that I can’t even stand to leave them in. These are probably great for somebody with a thicker or coarser hair texture, but I wouldn’t recommend them for fine hair.

Surprisingly poor product. I’ve bought Conair rollers all my life with good results, and it’s hard to believe they actually manufactured these. The rollers get fairly hot, but not very hot. The power switch feels like it is going to break off after 3 uses, so I’ll probably just leave it on and unplug it. The real issue is the clips. They are incredibly flimsy. The prongs aren’t long enough to even wrap around the rollers. The spring is super weak. They just don’t work, and the set is too expensive to not work. I tried to purchase replacement clips from another shop, but in true Amazon drop-ship fashion, they moved the arrival date to a month out on the day they were supposed to be delivered. 2” clips are hard to find, it seems, so I’m unable to use these rollers until I track some down. Really disappointing.

Ya’ll, just go ahead and buy them. If you have anything past shoulder length hair you should be good to go, shorter hair may search for something other than the XL/Jumbo size rollers.
(My hair medium/long, around bra strap length) (Also, these are a pretty standard/bulky roller set, I’m not sure if I’ll have enough room to pack them for my upcoming overseas trip… But I may adjust my outfits just to fit these in!
I have hot rolled for years, and bought all kinds. Other conair hot roller sets, T3 hot roller set (plus additional rollers), ect ect. I REALLY love these, I think even more than my T3 set. I’m always looking for the next level in volume, being from Texas. I get compliments every time I hot roll my hair, and it’s so quick! Pop them in, and begin my makeup. By the time I’m done with my makeup they are ready to be taken out!
For the clips here’s the hack: adjust and rotate the clips to the front part, rather than underneath the roll. For the rollers on top of your head, take large claw clips, and secure the side ends of the rollers on both sides of the roller, and you will be secure to continue on about your morning making coffee, finishing makeup, laundry, whatever. Enjoy your Dolly Parton hair!
