This diffuser made a huge difference in my curls. I did not realize how ineffective my last diffuser was at encouraging my curls to come. I highly recommend this as it is affordable and does a great job of not blowing my curls around.

OMG! 1- Thank you Amazon for giving me the opportunity to purchase, use, & return 3 other hair dryers! 2- Anybody looking for a good diffuser/hair dryer- This one is for you!
My old hair dryer took forever to dry my curly long locks, but always gave them great definition and hardly any frizz. It just wore out. I tried others, including another Conair Infiniti Pro hair dryer w/diffuser, BUT it had a different diffuser. THIS DIFFUSER IS THE BOMB!!! It really works! Doesn’t cause hair to fly away, even on high, and still no frizz! It doesn’t dry hair as quickly as some others on the market, but it WAS quicker than my old one, and the curl definition and root lift was really amazing!! And even better still – It was only $35 Thank you!! ❤️

This is my favorite hair dryer and refuser. It keeps my curls tight and soft. It’s easy to use, the power amount is perfect, will work great for curls or if you want to round brush straighten your hair. Drying time is quick, appearance is stylish, and the heat setting are perfect.

Who knew that buying a new hairdryer with a diffuser would be so complicated!!
I did a ton of research. I chose this one because I was intrigued by the large diffuser – it’s the biggest one I’ve ever seen! I figured I would pile all my hair into the giant bowl and it would be amazing! And they said the venting in the back is some fancy new design technology – and I can’t resist Science!

Alas, there are some major problems with the diffuser:

    1. The diffuser has giant vent holes. Why is this a problem? Because it doesn’t really diffuse the air! It’s basically just blowing air through the giant venting, as if you didn’t even HAVE a diffuser. The purpose of a diffuser is to DIFFUSE the air so it doesn’t blow full blast on your curls. It is supposed to provide gentler air flow to dry your hair and diffuse the strong air flow that can destroy the curls and create frizz. But the holes aren’t small enough to actually diffuse the air.

    2. The diffuser has the giant venting holes on the BACK of the diffuser as well (like at the bottom of the “bowl”). Other diffusers are solid in the back. Wanna know why? Because otherwise all the air escapes out the back before it gets to your hair! This means it takes much longer to actually dry your hair because half of the air is shooting out the back. It makes no sense. (I honestly would like to know their rationale for this fancy new design…)

    3. This is the worst part: It actually causes more frizz!! If you place the diffuser at the nape of your neck, the air that escapes through the vents in the back blows air all over your curls. Goodbye curls, hello frizz.

For reference, I have somewhat fine, wavy curls. Shoulder length (not a ton of hair). Maybe this whole design would be okay for another type of hair (I can’t imagine who. But maybe).

Also, to be fair – I only bought this particular hair dryer because of the fancy new diffuser (and because the hair dryer itself met all my other requirements, based on my research). The hair dryer unit is fine. In fact, I thought about just buying an alternative (normal!) diffuser that is compatible with the hair dryer, but I ended up just giving it away to someone (who doesn’t have curls and doesn’t need a diffuser). Anyway, here is what I can tell you about it:

    1. It is longer than most hair dryers. The implication is that if you hold the dryer away from your head (which you kind of have to do when you are diffuse-drying your hair), your arm is farther away. Not a huge deal but it makes it kind of awkward.

    2. It’s kind of heavy, compared to other hairdryers. I know this because I currently have six hair dryers in my house (long story). You probably wouldn’t notice unless you had six hair dryers in your house to compare it to. But, the weight combined with the awkward position of holding it farther away from your head can cause discomfort. Especially if you have literally no upper body strength, like me.

    3. It didn’t run super hot, which I appreciated. The Low, Medium, High heat is accurate (unlike some dryers where Medium is hot and Hot is scalding). This is a big plus, and another endorsement of the hair dryer itself.

In summary: If you diffuse, you must refuse. But if you just want decent hair dryer, then go for it.

I have used really expensive dryers and this one is comparable. I like the large diffuser. I can drop my curls into it and they dry and are still soft springy curls.

dryer. I like using the diffuser.

I bought this for my mom. Her older InfinitPro Conair hair dryer broke after several years of use. This newer model had the same name as her previous one. Both have Innovative Diffuser and both are called the InfinitPro by Conair.

First thing I want to mention is that this new one feels really higher quality. It’s a bit heavier but feels more durable. But most importantly, it’s super powerful! It blows hair so much faster than the older model and drying hair has never been so easy and quick to do.

It was such a great product I ended up ordering a 2nd one for myself.

I bought this blow dryer because it had a large diffuser, and it works very well. My hair is shoulder-length and thick, and I can get my curls “set” within a few minutes. The exterior of the diffuser has large vents, so a lot of airflow is lost through those, but that doesn’t appear to diminish the drying efficiency. I only rated it with two stars for traveling and weight, because it is large and rather heavy. But for my purposes, it works much better than prior diffusers I’ve used in the past.

I have long (almost to my tailbone) curly 3C hair. I start drying on Medium heat, Low airflow for 5 minutes then switch to Low heat and leave it on the Low airflow setting throughout. I always use the diffuser. The size of the diffuser and the depth of the bowl are perfect for root lift on long hair, body, and beautiful spiral curls with little to no frizz. A flat bowl diffuser is not good for root lift and crushes my hair removing body. The other unique feature of this diffuser is that the back is completely open allowing for great airflow throughout, which makes for fast drying time and is even better to preserve curls. Other diffusers have a solid closed back with no air flowing through. On the low setting, it takes about 35 minutes to dry my hair and set the curls. I’ve had this dryer for about 3 years now and can say it continues to work very well and gives me beautiful, frizz-free, curly hair for days. I use Shea Moisture Leave-In (there are many to choose from, depending on your hair needs), curl cream, and a small amount of strong hold gel. I hope they continue to make this dryer so when this one wears out, I can buy another one. This is an excellent dryer at a great price and the results are better than what I get from the Dyson used at my salon (the Dyson has a flat bowl diffuser and a closed back preventing airflow).

Ideal para cabello rizado, el secado queda padrísimo! Buena potencia, calidad y diseño, no resulta pesado y no se enreda en los chinos.

No real bells and whistles but it works well. The cool setting is actually cool and it does get pretty hot on the higher settings. Diffuser stays on well and doesn’t just pop off. Bought to replace mine when my daughter stole mine. I do not use a hair dryer regularly so can not say how it will hold up to daily use, but it does effectively dry my hair for me when I need it.

  13. Nikki

Works very well. I had an older hair dryer with the standard diffuser, but this one is much morr powerful than the old one, and the diffuser has a “seat” design to it which holds more curls for drying, or so I found.
It is large, but if you have storage space and are looking to do more in less time, this is definitely a top contender.
