Bought this because my friend recommended it after I went blonde. I was using Hydrating Argan Oil Hair Mask and Deep Conditioner By Arvazallia for Dry or Damaged Hair before & recommend that one to her. Both are about the same price & size, but ION I think is specifically for color treated hair. I didn’t really see a difference is it saving my hair color. I felt like it washed out in about the same amount of time as all the other times I’ve dyed my hair & didn’t know about this product. I still like Arvazallia’s version better though since I can use less product for the same hair softness. I felt like I had to use 3x the amount for ION’s. It does come in a nice squeeze bottle instead of a jar, so that’s nice. It’s great if you don’t know about Arvazallia’s version, but I don’t think I’d recommend & I don’t think I’d purchase this one again – I’d go with Arvazallia.

I never manage to get all the extra color out of my hair when rinsing so normally when rinsing out the conditioner it’s still pretty tinted with hair color
There was a HUGE difference in the amount of color coming out when rinsing out this treatment. It was a very light tint. So it definitely seems to be locking in the color better
2nd… OMG MY HAIR WAS SILKY SOFT FEELING WITHOUT EVEN STRAIGHTENING. normally after dying it feels a little dry in area regardless of the product but this is all over soft 0 tangle silkiness.
My hair also has random waves and is usually POOFY if air dried… this stuff made it dry straight. Like straight enough I just needed to do touch ups

Perhaps it’s my stubborn hair, but this product did not visibly improve how long/well my hair keeps the dark color.

I used this product for years and like how it closes hair cuticles after coloring hair. I use product once I color hair. Also, I use every few days after coloring hair.
Also, don’t forget to add an anti-itch liquid to hair color itself. If this line makes it. I recommend this company’s pre-treatment product to use before coloring.

I used this immediately after rinsing out my hair color and left it on about 4 minutes and rinsed. My hair felt like pure silk when I rinsed it out! The ultimate test will be the longevity of my color. It has been about 2 weeks and my color has barely faded. I am more than pleased! I think it is a really good product.
