I really love this straighter and it makes my hair so soft but the handle gets super hot . Also gets super hot in 30 seconds

This is the best flat iron I’ve ever had and it leaves my hair so soft afterwards I definitely recommend this especially if you have thick hair it also heats up fast.

I am loving this flat iron! It does volumize. One plate is slightly curved and the other fits into that one so its easy to create lift. The plates are of a good length. Others stated that the handle gets hot, but this is not the case unless you put your hand too far up towards the plates, and there is no need to press hard to iron. I like that it reaches 450 degrees as well. I tried once to create waves, and I think it will, just need to practice.

Edit: Did you know its 2020 and I still have this flat iron? It may be a little worn in now but it still functions like brand new. I use it to curl and straighten my hair and it has performed flawlessly. I love the curved plates because I feel like I’m able to achieve a better curl from a straightener.
If I ever need another one. I’m sticking with this brand.

I’ve used only Chii flat irons over the past 5 years, but it seems like over the last year every Chii I’ve purchased doesn’t last, so I started looking for a new brand. My mom purchased this iron 2 years ago and she loves it! I decided to give it a try and I can say I’m impressed, it heats up fast and even has an auto shut off feature. It works perfectly for straightening or curling my hair.
Not quite sure of the life-span of this particular flat iron as I’ve only had it for a couple of months, but so far so good!
