This smells so good (definitely contains fragrance) – I was going to use it for myself, but my husband stole it for himself and I’m not about to complain that he’s keeping his face moisturized lol. His skin hasn’t broken out and has not gotten too dry. He has an oily T-zone, and this doesn’t make it any more oily or greasy throughout the day. If anything, I dare say it’s been less oily than normal~

I’ve been using this face cream for several years. A Korean girl I used to date introduced me to this brand of face care for men and works well for me. Great scent and absorbs fast into the skin.

As a moisturizer this is pretty ok. It’s light, non-greasy, easily absorbed. Smells decent. But I think it doesn’t do much for anti-aging.
The older formula with the silver top had the saccharomyces ferment filtrate as the first ingredient. This is the fermented sake yeast that is the magic anti-aging ingredient in SK-ii. I do not see that ingredient listed on this newer formula.
Therefore I will likely not buy this product anymore since I wanted it for anti-aging.

IOPE is the brand under Amore Pacific which is the most reliable and regit Korean skincare brand. I gave this to my husband. I tried to make him put toner, serum and cream everyday but he is too forgetful. Now, I made him only use this and he is so far love it and apply everyday. It’s lightweight and does not make your skin feel oily. Totally non-greasy. I consider his skin is getting smooth. Also, this pumping bottle is another reason he does not forget or feel too lazy to use since he can get the cream with simple pumping. The bottle is well made and sturdy. The expiration date is available on the bottom of the bottle.

I got this for my husband who is in his 40s. He doesn’t normally use an essence, but I got this to go along with the IOPE Anti-aging Emulsion Ex. It has fragrance and alcohol denat, which I personally avoid if possible but he doesn’t mind. But, I was most interested in having him try this because it has niacinamide, which is one of my favorite skin care ingredients.
The essence comes in a nice looking black glass bottle. First, my husband cleansed with a coconut based cleanser, and then he applied the essence. The liquid goes on very easily. He describes it as a non-irritating face cologne. It did not irritate his skin. It has a nice scent. Paired with the moisturizer, this is leaving his skin softer and smoother and more hydrated.
I’m not sure if he will maintain this extra step, but I am a believer in a good essence. I recommend this one, but it might not be best for dry or sensitive skin because of the alcohol.
