My doctor used this and gave me a sample. It is the only cream I can use that does not clog my pores. I have used other recovery balms but they dry shiny and peel off. This is a thick lotion (no smell) and I can use color science make up (again good ingredients) over it. I have used after pixel and micro needling and it soothes (does not sting like biafin). I had gotten a really bad pimple that after it popped, I knew that it was going to turn to a scab so I tried this product- no scab. It healed nicely. It is expensive but worth it!

I have suffered with eczema my whole life but lately it spread to my face. My skin would literally flake off in scales and was spreading over my eyes and into my scalp. Two weeks of no makeup and ONLY this cream it has done wonders.
Now I wear it everyday under makeup and also mix a tiny bit into my foundation. Honestly best cream I have ever used

This stuff is amazing. It doesn’t clog pores and it is not too sticky/shiny. When you first put it on there’s going to be a shine on your skin, but it fades as the balm dries. As it says, it really helps your skin recover (in time). I would buy it again and recommend it.

I used the recovery balm after my microneedling procedure. It was so soothing. I have acne prone skin and it did not break me out.

I have bought this a few times. It’s not cheap but not as expensive as many other face cream/balms. I have extremely breakout prone skin so I was surprised I could use this, it’s pretty heavy and it does leave you looking very moisturized. I have 1- 2 times a year my skin just freaks out and gets dry and hurts and starts flaking. I was recommended this brand after a microneedling treatment and didn’t want to spend the money or think it would work for me at the time but a week later I ended up on Amazon buying this. This is nothing extraordinary that will lighten dark spots or firm your skin so the price may be hard to swallow but it is literally one of the only moisturizing creams I can use that actually puts moisture back in my skin and helps it heal while not breaking me out. I use it morning and night for this reason but would really like to find a lighter moisturizer for day so I don’t always look like a greasy mess but IMO greasy is way better than dry and cracking with pimples, just use a setting powder to help take the shine down. If you suffer that weather changing skin or get many facials and have sensitive skin you would probably like to have this on hand. It has helped me more than anything else I’ve tried and most importantly doesn’t break me out.

I always keep Sheald on hand. I have occasional breakouts and use retinol and other ance medications that can irritate the skin. Slather this on at night and the next morning your skin is back to normal and looking good. I’m the winter I use it as a nighttime moisturizer and it really helps. A must have after chemical peels and dermatology procedures.

I have suffered from extreme chemical burn from OTC chemical peel, basically ate my face from having perfect skin to having lines, textures, reactions, you can see thru my skin – changed my life. Anyways I’ve only been using uriage because I react to everything and I was hesitant to purchase anything because everything I’ve purchased to help heal my skin I react (I am in the beauty industry I have worked for top of line companies) I know skin care etc.

I will forever use this, the firsy time it tingled my face and I panicked and wasn’t going to use again but I tried because it’s made for burns. I have extreme anxiety as u can imagine because my skin is so sensitive and reactive.
It’s very hydrating and I pray to Jesus that if I continue to use this it will help my texture and it will help my moisture barrier because it’s been destroyed.

I have dry, sensitive skin. My face was damaged deeply and I could not find anything to help heal my face and keep it moisturized. I found this product after I had light treatment at a medical spa. (This is after years of unsuccessful dermatologist visits/prescriptions.) All products that worked for me in the past were no longer helping. Any “all natural” products had ingredients I am allergic to (i.e. coconut oil). This stuff WORKS. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all, which is a small miracle. It soothes my skin as well as keeps it moisturized throughout the day.
