I really like this. The ingredients are what really drew me to wanting to try this product out. I’ve been trying to be mindful as to what products I use on my body. There are just a handful ingredients in this product and they work!
I have straight Asian hair so having a hair product that can keep my hair styled through out the day M-F 8-5 is important. Now this isn’t a product that will be sleek and shiny. This is matte and will produce more of a relaxed but styled look. This means you can run your fingers through your hair throughout the day. This product feels light in your hair and allows you to restyle your hair in the event of wind or when you take your shirt off.
I usually start with towel dried hair and use a moderate sized amount and rub between my hands. I use a comb to style it at first but throughout the day I end up running my fingers through my hair.
Washing out is easy as well. While it doesn’t wash out easily with water, shampoo and conditioner will take it out.
I live in Texas so the humidity is intense. This product stayed in my hair with no problem. I also had the opportunity to use this product in Vegas as well. With both wet and dry heat, the product held my hair together.
My only complaint is that if your hair is greasy, this will not hold up. I typically wash my hair once a day, but when I went two days without washing, it did not hold up and my hair constantly would fall down. I even reapplied twice.
Nonetheless, Jack Henry clay pomade is a product you should really consider!

I have a medium-short length fine hair and so a little product goes a long way.
I love the smell. What does it smell like? It smells expensive — without bombarding with fragrance.
It has a nice light hold, but it doesn’t hold all day for me. Which is a little off a bummer but my hair is style very much stylable thought the day. So decent trade off.
Because of my fine hair, it can get greasy if I add a little too much but that’s user error. Not the product’s fault.
You really have to warm up the product in your palms before applying and if warmed appropriately before application, it goes in easily.

Works well in terms of styling your hair. It has a matte finish and keeps everything in place without becoming stiff. However, it feels almost impossible to wash off. I had to basically scrub them off my hands after applying and had to shampoo a few times to feel clean. Maybe it’s the water here? Not worth the hassle

If I could give this product 100 Stars I would.
Used to use Tigi bed head paste, which they discontinued, and I’m so happy they did since it led me to this Jack Henry clay.
I tried it but a dozen other products, all were at best so-so, and full of chemicals, and smelt less than good, and I’m sure a bad for my scalp.
But then I Jack Henry clay a try, I have not had a bad hair day since. I cannot say enough good things about this product.
May seem expensive, but you will end up using perhaps less than one half the amount other product you currently are now using. With only four ingredients, and no synthetic crap, it’s actually good for my scalp.
I hope this company makes products forever, they certainly deserve to do very well.

Best stuff ever! I will never use another hair product again. I have been through them all and this is hands down the best! I have thick heavy hair and it works without having to use a lot of product which makes heavy greasy hair. Get some!

What I love most about this product is that it has no harmful chemicals, or toxins that over 99% of hair pomades and clays have in them. Your hair and scalp will thank you becuase your hair won’t be falling out. Secondly, it has great texture and hold without weighing your hair down or making your hair look like it is plastered to your head. Great hold and style without looking like you overstyled or have too much product in your hair. A natural look.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but if you want to waste $29 this is the product for you. Not great hold and very greasy. Even using a dime size amount you will need to shampoo twice to wash this out. Really was hoping this was good with the clean ingredients but I was disappointed way more than I thought was possible.
