Are people getting the product without any type of seal? Just curious because this is an expensive product. This could be moistened with witch hazel, IJS.

This product wasn’t too harsh for my skin. It didn’t cause any irritations. I didn’t see any benefits or changes to my skin after using this product for some time.

I like these pads for exfoliation but they have a strong alcohol scent and they’re a little gritty. They’re definitely very effective but might not be good if you have sensitive skin.

Oh, boy. I have a love/hate relationship with these corrective pads. As long as you can deal with these, you will have wonderful results and your skin will be super smooth and moisturized.

First off, I have to say that after trying lots of different sorts of glycolic acid skincare products before, I have never even once ever suffered from any sort of negative reaction. Same with salicylic acid which has only done wonders for my skin. What it is with this one, I don’t have the slightest clue, but I’m sure that it was one of the acids that didn’t agree with me. I’m assuming though that it is one of the acids that bothered me, though not positive.

Of course, it didn’t sit too well with me when I opened the jar to see it only half filled. It did not seem previously used or tampered with. It just struck me that this was the size jar they used with the amount of pads they chose to give you. The pads themselves are quite thin, though fine for holding a fair amount of the serum. Just makes it a little tricky pulling only one at a time out of the jar.

Immediately, you can feel that this is an extremely moisturizing serum or treatment. Clearly formulated for those on the drier side of the ph spectrum. Easy to spread over the skin and feels fine during application. It was once it sat on my skin that it drove me crazy. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and just could not stand it anymore. It made my skin itch and tingle. Not a burning sensation, though I do assume that it was one of the acids going to work and doing its job exfoliating my skin. Wasn’t painful at all. It just kept itching me. Meanwhile, it’s very oily, so I didn’t want to touch my face.

Couldn’t stand it anymore and eventually gently rinsed it away. Ah, relief!

Afterwards, I do have to admit that my skin looked great and felt extremely soft and smooth. The results were wonderful. It was just going through that oily, itchy stage that drove me up a wall.

Normally, my mature combination skin isn’t all that sensitive anymore. What I still have to watch out for is making sure some skincare product doesn’t break me out. This was an unusual reactive for me. Because of that, I’d suggest that those sensitive to various skincare products to proceed with caution. It may very well be fine for you, but take it easy.

Great results but probably good for those with normal to dry skin. Best for those with slightly dry to drier mature skin.

  5. This is me

Out of all the products that I’ve used that are similar to these, these are the best out of them! I love that they have great ingredients and overall very minimal ingredients- other than the beneficial ingredients there are really only a few filler/preservative ingredients- still worth looking over, though, to make sure it works for your skin’s needs. I like that there is no fragrance to these.

They have a bit of a thick consistency to the liquid on the pads, not in a bad way. Once it’s washed-off it seems to help make my skin softer and look more hydrated (I definitely still follow with moisturizer, though).
It’s suggested to start by using one every couple of days – maybe a little longer in between depending on how you do with it – then try for more often. I have sensitive areas on my cheeks and have done really well with these. It does have a slight stinging feel here and there but it honestly has not been uncomfortable for me. Though, that of course can be different for others.

My skin is combination type and acne-prone. I also have large pores where my skin is the oiliest so it’s very easy for me to get blackheads. These pads have worked great at keeping my skin clear and bright. They will definitely be a staple in my skin care now!

These pads have some of the ingredients I love – Niacinamide, Azelaic Acid, Glycolic Acid, and Salicylic Acid. It claims to help with acne and dark spots, both of which are an issue for me. So, I was excited to give these a try!

🔹Comes in a basic jar with a twist off top. The jar didn’t have a safety seal, which surprised me. I guess they felt since it came in an outer product box, a safety seal wasn’t necessary? But, I would expect it to have a safety seal, especially at this price point. I was also surprised because the jar looked half empty! There was 30 pads, but why use such a big jar when it’s only half filled? It’s weird!

🔹Pads are pretty thin, which can make it hard to get just 1. It’s easy to accidentally grab 2 or 3. I definitely recommend making sure you only have 1 so you’re not wasting them! They have a quilted kind of pattern, which seems to provide a slight exfoliating effect. It doesn’t feel rough at all. The pads are moist enough, but there isn’t much product in the bottom, so I really hope these don’t dry out before I get a chance to use them all! I’ve had that happen in the past with other pads that just didn’t have enough product in the jar.

🔹For use it says to leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with tepid water and wash cloth. If you’re u have sensitive skin or during dry cool weather, leave it on for 3-5 minutes instead. After use, follow up with a moisturizer. Wait 2 days between each use. Once your skin gets used to the product, you can increase frequency.

🔹The product on the pads has a serum type consistency, but does feel slightly oily. I liked it though. It provided a nice slip to move the pad around on my face and felt moisturizing. It didn’t leave my skin feeling oily at all.

🔹I have normal to dry skin, more on the dry side with some extremely dry areas. I don’t have sensitive skin at all. So, I decided to leave it on for the 10-15 minutes, depending how it felt as I was waiting. Initially I could feel a slight tingling. At around the 6 minute mark, I could definitely tell it was working and started to reconsider the 10-15 minutes wait time! It wasn’t uncomfortable at all, but I didn’t want to irritate my skin either. So, at that point it had been about 8 minutes and I rinsed it off. My skin didn’t look red or irritated at all. It felt nice and smooth. I applied a moisturizer and went to bed. The next morning my skin felt so soft and smooth and looked brighter! I waited the 2 days and then used it again, this time keeping it on for the full 10 minutes. I’m not sure if I’ll move up to the 15 minutes or if I’ll just use the pads every other day instead. But, for now, I’ve been liking using a pad every 2 days and keeping it in for 10 minutes.

    🔹FINAL THOUGHTS
I like products where I can actually FEEL them doing their thing! With skin care, it takes time to really see results. But, it’s hard to wait for that because most of the time you don’t physically feel the skin care working. So when I use products where I do feel it working I’m excited to see what the results are! I can really feel these pads working! I can see and feel how soft and smooth my skin feels! They don’t dry out or irritate my skin at all. A lot of pads like these can make my skin feel dry and stripped, but these pads don’t. My skin feels moisturized, soft, and smooth and looks brighter. I’m excited to see what continued use will do! These are pretty darn expensive, especially for only 30 pads. Since the pads are moist enough, I recommend cutting them in half so you get 60 pads! I did that and I hope that they don’t dry out before I finish them!
