I am partially bald at the crown of my head. I had hair transplants but not enough hair in the back to cover the front. This is a Godsend! My truck is to spray your head with hairspray first. I think that helps this powder stick to my scalp better.

I started buying this on QVC when Joan Rivers was still alive. I have had cancer twice over the years & my hair has really become thin on the top of my head. I started using this & it works. The only thing that I do not like about it is the brush that they give you to apply it to your hair, this one that I received with my order is actually shedding so that is a disappointment.

There’s absolutely nothing like this product and believe me I think I’ve tried them all. When I go to apply mine I just set the compact in the sink so that if I splash powder around it’s an easy cleanup. Really if you’ve done crafts I don’t see how you would have trouble with this although some people say they do. So anyway I just open it up in the sink, part my hair with the brush handle and lightly pounce the compact and then my head. I rarely get it on my forehead and if I do it comes off easily w damp tissue or corner of wash cloth. And this will stay on thru sweat and swimming. It does not come off on my white pillow case. Yet it washes out in the shower easily with shampoo as normal. It also gives nice volume to your hair. Now I know you’re supposed to use the brush but lately I’ve been putting it a little further back on the top of my head and I don’t really see there very well or at all, so I’ve just been rubbing three fingertips on the compact and then rubbing it on that part of my head and checking with the hand mirror. It seems to work pretty well.
I use the brunette shade. Even when I had my hair a lighter brown, actually even when I had it purple, I always use the dark brown. In fact Joan Rivers always said that if you’re blonde you should get the light brown because it looks more natural on the roots.
So this is fantastic and I worry that they might discontinue it so I’m trying to stock up.
