The oil arrived with a broken seal and leaked through the delivery box. I didn’t feel like dealing with the hassle of shipping it back so I kept it. The oil serves its purpose I just wish I got my moneys worth.

I have been using the same oil since 2007. I buy about a gallon a year. A little goes a long way. When I was first considering purchasing this I called the company to learn more about it. The gentleman that called me back said he was the owner. His son was taking over the farm, but he owned the umbrella company. He told me the full history of the company and about how they express the seeds. He did tell me it isn’t an oil. :). He even told me all about the rules of organic labeling and why some of the farm is organic and some of it isn’t. The whole farm is grown organically, but since the neighboring farm isn’t organic there is a strip of plants that cannot be considered organic. He was absolutely delightful to speak with. I have never used any other product with my clients since. It is wonderful. I do very deep tissue work with this. I realize that typically for deep tissue work you want to use a cream, but by regulating the amount of product you use you can get a good grip or a good glide. A little goes a long way. No need to use a lot. And since I switched to this I don’t have rancid sheets. I had sheets that, though washed every use within 24 hours, became rancid when they sat on the shelf clean for two weeks. The oil from the lotions never truly are washed out. I have never had the issue with Hoba Care products. I have sheets that I just pulled out storage that sat for a month. No smell at all. I found some sheets from back in my school days where I used lotions and they were rancid. I had to throw them away. I will never go back to using lotion. I will stick with HobaCare for the rest of my career. Jojoba for the win!!

I use this for massage. This brand is consistent in quality and purity. It absorbs easily and is pretty well accepted by most people, allergy wise. It’s the oil most similar to our natural occurring skin oil

This product provides enough glide for a relaxation massage AND enough friction for a deep tissue session. Clients are left with moisturized skin, but do not have to worry about staining their clothes.
