This product is great! I have used Proactiv for many years (7+ years) and wanted to step away from it for good. I went to Juice Beauty after someone on YouTube suggested it. I remove my makeup before cleansing (which you should always do seeing as this is a cleanser and NOT a make-up remover) and then I massage it in for 1-2 minutes. You need to give it time to absorb into your skin. This is the same idea as brushing your teeth for 2 minutes. Brushing for 30 seconds will do something, but not much. Every other day (I want to start using every day) I use my Spin Brush by Vanity Planet (70% off with ANNIE code… I am NOT Annie and will not receive a benefit from any purchase) after massaging the product into my skin for about 30 seconds. This product will not dry your skin (compared to how drying Proactiv cleanser is) and I have found it to work well with the rest of my skin care routine. I also use, Peter Thomas Roth Therapeutic Sulfur masque (2-3 times a week and as a spot treatment just about every night) and just started using BPT3.1 Tea Tree Oil Acne Treatment and moisturizer (I highly recommend this… It is amazing after only one use— I use it only at night). I also take Zinc and Maca root. I use a few other products but these are the ones I use on a regular basis. If you are like me, and pretty much always have acne (mine is around my chin and mouth) and never have the occasional pimple then you need a routine that will most likely consist of multiple products. Also, you need to give them 1-3 months to work and you need to expect things to get worse before they get better. Unfortunately, this is just how it works. You need to find the combination of products and tools that works for your skin and life style. I almost forgot… I LOVE Manuka honey masks. I need to use it more often than I do because it truly works. Honey is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. I put it on my skin directly (sometimes adding cinnamon) and leave it there for about 30 minutes and then rinse it off. The redness on my skin and the redness from my pimples are significantly diminished and my skin feels great. I use Wedderspoon 100% raw Manuka honey with a K factor of 16. It is expensive but this brand is the absolute best and the higher the K factor the better. I get it from Amazon.

All I can say is that I love this product. It does have a weird scent, but you get used to it, besides it doesn’t stay on. When I applied it on my face it was smooth and easy to wash off. I been using it for a week now and I can see a difference. But I’m also using it 2 times a day and with other products. Couldn’t have been anymore happier with how my skin is cleaning up.

I started using this product last year – I’m in my early 30s with decent skin (African-American with oily skin, a monthly cycle of pimples when my period is rolling around), and I’ve been through soooo many face washes, both from the store and more “luxury” products seeking a face wash that will remove the little makeup I wear and leave my skin feeling clean and soft after each use. Happy to say this product is it – this is THE face wash that I will stick with long-term. There was about a two-week period where I tried another product – and pimples cropped right back up. I’m sticking with this one!
Smell is light and unoffensive (I don’t like unnecessary fragrances), a little bit goes a long way, it’s easy on my skin (not abrasive or drying at all), and I love that it’s based out of natural and organic products and leaves my skin feeling fresh. I also have reduced or no pimples preceding my period, which means a lot for me! Definitely a winner for me.

I struggled with adult acne since I turned 25. I really took a told on my self confidence and my wallet as I was dumping money into any and every product I could find to combat it. When I started using Juice Beauty’s cleanser, I knew something was different about it. Most acne cleansers dry your skin out in order to clear up breakouts. And while this is effective, it usually creates a cycle of dry flakey skin turning into over oily skin because your face is over compensating for the natural oils that have been stripped by your cleanser. In turn you end up with clogged pores and breakouts all over again.
But not with this cleanser! This cleanser is non-drying. Its actually fairly hydrating!! Its gentle enough to not strip you of you of the oils you need but strong enough to clear up those pesky breakouts. I have repurchased this item over and over again over the past 2 years and don’t plan on switching. If they discontinue this item, I will really be in trouble, haha! I recommend this to any of my friends who are struggling with acne!

I love the juice beauty line. I use a app called YUKA and it tells you the products chemicals content.
Juice beauty is a great beauty line that has little to no cancer causing chemicals.
I use this face cleanser every in the shower and I almost never have breakouts. I’m almost forty years old and my skin looks wonderful 👍

While this wash is by no means perfection in a bottle (you won’t walk away using it alone to become blemish free), my son went from having systemic acne on his forehead to only having a few blemishes so it’s a massive improvement for him not only because his skin looks so much better but people look at him differently.
I had read a lot of reviews of a lot of products and we had tried several options none of which helped before I landed here, but now when his supply dwindles he’s right there urging me to order more.
One negative thing I read everywhere was about the smell, and perhaps because I built it up in my head to be this horrific smell it didn’t seem bad at all, but really it has a pretty mild smell.
It doesn’t smell like roses but it’s not at the other end of the spectrum either. I think it has a pretty nice earthy scent to it but by no means stinks.
Would I recommend to someone who needs a good face wash for their oily skin and so far nothing has hit the mark? Absolutely. Abso-freakin-lutely!
