Not sure why the star rating is so low, but this is one of the best lip products I have ever used. I have the worst habit of biting and chewing on my lips which makes them more dry and split. This instantly soothes them, keeps them smooth for a while, AND makes them look and feel instantly more hydrated and plump with the lightest pink tint. I just received this product today and I’m making a review about it today. People are going to be like lip. Glosses are supposed to have air in it and that’s all fine and dandy, but there’s a lot of air in here. There’s a lot of air inside of this packaging. It makes me a bit mad when you pay $13 for a lip gloss or a lip balm which is kind of steep and the majority of the product is mainly air so you’re sitting here just squeezing the Product waiting for it to come out and by that time like you’re just squeezing the whole entire tube just to get a little tiny drop of whatever is supposed to be in here. The product is not bad. It’s Just the air inside of this tube.

Of course, I had to hop on the gym lip trend. (Gym lip is where you overline your lips with a lip liner nearly the same color as your lips, and then cover it with a nourishing balm or treatment, instead of just gloss. This way your lips are cute, but also getting a lavish treatment during the day). I absolutely had to give it a try, because it’s fall/winter time when my skin decides to just get rid of any moisture I try to put in/on it. Here’s my routine, as I do my skincare, I will use my Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Essence, Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence, and Inkey List Omega Water Cream on my lips as well. (Extra moisture never hurt). Now time for the lips. I don’t use a liner, but I gently dab on my favorite lipstick so there is just a sheer wash of color, and then slather this on. My lips are SO. SOFT. It’s a pink-colored thick cream/balm that I will dab on. Be careful, applying too much does leave a light-colored sheen, but it is so thick and moisturizing that you don’t need a lot. It is a bit sticky, so immediately running out for a bite to eat probably isn’t the best vibe. However, if you’re running errands, why not give your lips a good treatment at the same time? Plus, I HATE doing a lip treatment at night. It gets all over my pillowcases when I toss and turn and then on my face and causes pimples. Best to just do it during the day!
